Stock headlights were getting pretty nasty. Had a buddy of mine come over and help restore my headlights.

Just put on 5 new tires. Michelin Defender LTX M/S. Went with 265-70/18 in the SL load range. Nice highway tire. Much quieter than the LTX ATs that were on there.

Been a while for me on here.... I’m super excited today, I picked up some Rock Warrior wheels for my Turd!!
The P.O. had blacked out the centers already, I think it’ll tie in better on my Silver.

looks like some nice shoes on those wheels too.
My truck is a black Rock Warrior, I actually think the gunmetal works pretty well. I can see how Black wheels would look hot on a silver truck though.

Can't wait to see installed pics. :)

I ripped the radio out of my truck, and started the process of re-wiring everything.

Yaesu FTM-400XDR is now mounted in the back under the passenger's side rear seat.
The Battery is a 12Amp Hour AGM battery.
There is a blue box under the control head that's a DC/DC UPS, that will switch to the AGM when the truck is turned off by way of a voltage switch.
I'm still waiting on the Microphone extension kit to come in. Tomorrow after work I'll install the other radio which is also going behind the rear seats.

behind the front seats, on each side in the back, under the carpet is a 1.25" grommet going from inside the cab to under the truck inside the frame. On the driver's side this is about 6" or so ahead of the gas tank.

All the coax enters/exits the truck through these grommets.

I took the grill cover off. Starting to prep for operation ‘zero chromes given’. And put a cheesy seat back protector on the front seats so my kids stop kicking dirt all over them.

Just bought my Tundra a month or two ago and forgot to post it when I join the forum. Since then I put on newer rims (had a dent in mine, got a set of 07 TRD Pro for 75 on CL, and took off the running boards

The Sony went in about a month ago. Work I did the last two days was re-installing the Yaesu FTM-400XDR (control head under the Passenger Temp control) . And the Icom IC-7000 (control head by the arm rest.)

I got stage one of operation chrome-be-gone complete. Next on the list is grill surround and bumper hoop. No need to worry about the rear bumper cause that thing is about to be ripped off too:bananadance:

Saturday, drove a new Tundra to see if I should get one - nothing wrong with my 08 at all. So almost did it, I can afford it. But dam my truck is free....so the changes begin.

    Detailed interior:
New Stereo - kept the JBL speakers and sub for now but it sounds great and love having Apple Carplay.
    New mats - Weather tech

    Next up:
    New grille inbound
    New Headlights inbound
    New Tonneau cover inbound
New Tail lights on hold until the new Spyders come out in June

Truck is a 2008 Limited, JBL, loaded for that time period - currently at 183K, had a radiator put in in it, front wheel bearings, rear wheels bearing. Got the brakes figured out with some slotted and drilled which for two years have not warped, lifetime warranty on the pads.
