Bye bye chrome. Playing with the stock grill and paint colors before my replacement comes.

Most likely a difference in package/optoins.

Some models are missing a few of these buttons but I don't know what package includes what buttons.

Edit: I see you have a Limited. I would think that model would have the same display. Do you have the "info" button? If so, press it a few times as it toggles thru a few different displays/readouts, one of which is blank (no display)

I have the same buttons - just displayed differently. Do you have navigation? Maybe your clock is on your radio instead - I don’t have Nav

This is exactly the tire and tire size I'm leaning g towards. How do you like the size? I'm currently on 285 55 20 I would prefer the taller tire without going much wider. Plus something about this size makes tires so much more affordable than say 285 or 295 of the same height

Did my first Tundra oil change today.

Pretty straight forward once I figured out the skid plate needed to slide over to release those two hooks that hold up the front.

Well Les, I ordered a magnetic 10mm socket ( deep well) to get the 2 nuts once you pull down the headliner. It will definitely make things easier with a extra set of hands. Mainly to hold the liner down while your extracting them nuts. Do you have a sliding glass back window or power window?

the match is alright. it's rattle canned with Duplicolor 1D7, they didn't have 1D6 and I'm impatient. It's not perfect, but if you can't tell then i'm happy enough for now. Mainly did this to get painting again. wanted to go through the motions of sanding to perfection and laying down good coats, then wet sanding to a perfect shine etc., did a lot back in the day on previous projects and missed it on my last couple of rides. Did the grill, door handles, and mirror caps for now. next thing is to bedline the rear bumper and wait for it to get jacked up before i have to replace it with tubes :D

my new grill just came in a few days ago - i wanted a black center without having to paint it. This time I'm going to get some actual matched paint and do the new surround with better quality paint/clear. mannnn i just might have to buy a compressor setup and build a little tent in my apartment garage to get this done right...

I have the sliding window like yours. Can you cautiously describe how to pull down liner to access the nuts? Thanks Rons
