Your supercharger looks a little dirty so I think you should take it off and give it to me. I can then give you my intake. Lol

Scored a Bully Dog from @Shivermetimbers yesterday and it arrived today (just like Amazon!).

Finished up the other crap I was doing and got it installed early this evening. Managed to jamb everything behind the drivers side kick panel and tapped the power from the CIG circuit in the fuse box up under the dash. All in all it took about about an hour and a half including a call to Bully Dog tech support where they remote accessed my PC to upload some updated files to the micro SD card.

Anyhow, all seems to be working as should now but I'm too chicken to upload a tune until their tech support guys are back to work.

    Maybe tomorrow.

Nice! I’ve got their chrome version on my Watch list.... how is the quality? I did a set of eBay lights on my old Ram, and they barely lasted 5months, and one filled with water after a rain...... I’m a little gun shy on them....

Also, how did you set up the DRL? My ‘07 doesn’t have them from Factory....*shrug*

It's working pretty well so far. Once I got over the apprehension of possibly bricking the trucks ECU I tried a few different tunes and have settled on the one below for the moment.

You can definitely tell the truck has a bit more omph, especially if you step on it to pass at say 40mph. It just flat out gets up and goes.

Things I really like are, no seatbelt chime, super low volume door open chime, and setting the throttle sensitivity where it's not so twitchy when starting from a stop.

I thought I may have picked up 1mpg when I filled up the other day but I thing the pump was shutting off prematurely even though I went through 3 "clicks" of auto shutoff, if that makes sense. It looks like I was about a half gallon short of a normal fill. We'll see how that works out on the next few fillups.

Today I drove like the old man that I am.

I decided to take the day off today and drive the 73 miles to my mom's to do some little "fix it" things around her house. When I go down there I usually drive 75-80 mph but today I decided that I'm in no hurry and, no matter how painful it is, I'm going to keep it at 65 max.

Normally, 95% of my driving is in town, stop and go, and my digital readout has been stuck at 14.8 mpg (haven't reset it since I've had the truck), which seems pretty close to what the Fuel Log app on my phone says.

    Screenshot_20180202-174516.jpg

At 0715 I left the house and hit reset on the digital mpg readout. The drive to my mom's house is relatively flat for the most part, nothing steep or long, with a 2,500 ft gain in elevation over the 73 miles. There was really no wind to speak of either. All acceleration was done with a pretty light foot but not light enough to piss off anybody behind me (e.g. NO hypermiling or driving like I'm in a friggen Prius).

Sticking to my plan to not exceed 65 mph :confused:this is what the readout showed roughly a 150 miles later when I rolled back into the carport this afternoon.

    IMG_20180202_152237364.jpg

So, I guess the moral of the story is, if you're looking for somewhat decent mpg's, drive like an old man.
