Yeah, thanks for the help. I ended up just heading to AutoZone and finding some universal ones that worked. Daggum things just broke apart as I was trying to pull them out.

What bumper are you running @2ndgenny? Looks like an ARB.

You bet it is ARB. Only difference is the bar on top is flipped forward slanting instead of back slanting. When it’s setup like the way they build them you have to unlatch it and swing it out to open the hood... o_O I like how it looks better also.

How’s this? At some point I’ll be undercoating the bar and bumper the same color. It does stick out a tad far from the front of the truck imo. But it works well for coyotes I’ll tell ya haha

It was time for a new battery. The old battery was working fine, but it was old and summer's on its way. I'm not really happy with the GP Audio terminals. It takes an inordinate amount of tightening to get them to hold. I had to use a cheater bar on the allen wrench to get them to quit slipping. I was hoping they'd tighten before the threads stripped, and I'm not sure they'll hold. A little vibration may loosen up the post. They look nice, but I'll be on the lookout for something better.

Not familiar with those post clamps. Do they come with an insulating boot for the positive post?

No pics yet as my truck is a dirty mess. But I took my undercover hard cover off the box and sold it. Not enough room in the box with it installed. Gunna keep my eyes peeled for a roll up leather one maybe. Or nothing.

My schedule and the weather finally afforded me the opportunity to get my Pop and Lock installed. In case anyone's interested, the wiring on my 2012 is backwards from what's listed in the instructions.

I still have a little "touch up" work to do. The lock is pretty cruddy, I may remove the cover at some point and clean and relubricate it. For now, I sprayed the moving parts with Ballistol to keep things moving smoothly.

Sits on the bed rail and clamps down with j-hooks under the bed rail lip. Same design that Yakima uses for some of their ladder/headache racks.4297AEC0-F742-4C77-8BC8-D567F6FD29B8.jpg

    Very
    Very nice!

My son was asking me the other day, "Hey Dad, what was that welder you were eyeballing?". So, I'm hoping a Hobart 140 comes my way for Father's day or my B-Day. If not, I'm kicking him out, even tho he's the good one. ;)

Game on if I get a welder!

A guy at work had his tailgate stolen at a local golf course parking lot this past weekend so I went ahead and did the hose clamp mod on mine. I rotated the screw head so you have to get to it from underneath the truck.

I realize it's not going to stop anybody that really wants it but I hope it'll keep someone from doing a quick snatch and run.

I don't think so, you have to be able to open it to get it off. Having said that, I rarely lock mine. Bad habit and I should really invest in the Pop N Lock thingy.

My Grandson and I installed a pair of Bilstein 4600's on the back of the truck. The factory KYB's were shot, and the new shocks did improve the ride.
