Did they give you a Estimate on how much it will cost?
Just found out 1 of my Cam Towers is leaking. Did they say how crucial it is to have fixed right away?

My Friends think I'm crazy & they may be Right...
I recently got my Old Girl back after the Toyota Dealer having her for almost a MONTH!

She is a 2008 5.7Lt SR5 Extra Cab Tundra with 128,000 miles on the Clock.
Would have Posted this earlier but I've been out of town.
I had the Toyota Dealer install some Tender Vittles.
    • A Magnuson Supercharger
    • King Adjustable Shocks to Level her out w/ Rear Shackles cause the Front was a Little too High.
    • Slotted DBA Rotors w/ TRD Pads
    • Odyssey Extreme Battery
    • TRD Sway Bar
    • Kenwood Excelon DNX994S Head Unit w/ Garmin Navigation (Installed by Stereo Company just after)
Below are a few of the Pics:

Towed 9100#s of trailer and gear almost 2000 miles over the last few days. There is another 500#s of stuff in the bed. Almost half way to Alaska. Pics were taken just south of Helena, Mt. Spending the night in Shelby, Mt. Crossing the border in the morning.

Gas mileage on flat ground is around 9 to 10 mpg at 65mph at 1900 rpm in Tow Haul mode. (I can run faster but trying to take it easy)

Down to around 6 to 7 mpg in the mountains running 3000 rpm and doing right at between 55 and 60mph up 6% grades in Tow Haul.

No way that I could do this without the beefed up leafs and the 488's hauling this much weight on these big wheels and tires.

Going down steep hills moving over from Drive to manual shift mode puts me in 4th gear. Using some / little breaks and clicking down to 3rd below 55 works perfectly for holding my speed down to around 55 to 60. Works like a charm. Pretty steep terrain between Bozeman, Butte, and Helena.

So far she's running perfectly. Not acting liking its working hard at all. Im surprised that its pulling this great and doing so well. That 5.7 is doing its job for sure.

Everyone in FORDS, RAMS, AND CHEVYS gives me the double take as they pass me looking shocked that a jacked up Tundra is running this heavy that fast. ;)

For sure getting the looks form all of the Tundra drivers. They too look surprised.

removed side Tundra badges. Was a bit of a bitch..but after clay bar and good buffing/waxing, can't see any traces anymore. Still on the fence for the 5.7L badges :)

I dumped all badges that said TUNDRA, but kept my 5.7L badges. I think it looks good that way.

It does look very clean without badges. I removed the tailgate ones about a year ago.

I pushed out a dent under the right front splash guard that one of the previous owners had made.
These particular clips are a PITA to remove!
