Gave the truck a wash after installing and bedding in the new front brakes, poking through the spokes there..

About 176k. Started this due to wp leak. OE got replaced at 107k with one from NAPA, the first one from NAPA had a hairline crack so it only got 2 warm ups before it got replaced.
I'm replacing wp, thermostat, idler pulley, tensioner pulley, fan mounting bracket, alternator, power steering pump, belt, radiator cap. Alt and ps pump still work, but its one of those "i already have it apart" kind of things. All parts are from Olathe Toyota because they are about 60-75% the price of buying from my local dealer.
I'm going to do a PS flush and a brake flush since I also just replaced all 4 corners with Powerstop Z36 rotors and carbon ceramic pads. Still having issues from back surgery, so I'm working slow.
Also adding Morimoto XB headlights since I am using up all my PTO and pay check on this.

Thanks - asking because my 2008 have 208,000+ and I have not done any of those parts. Purchased new and still have OE wp, alt, etc.

I have a bad habit of using the "I'm already here" and "this card needs to be used before they cancel it" excuses when it comes to replacing parts. I'll probably add ujoints to my list.
Just check the bottom of the water pump to see if there is a pink/white(ish) buildup. If you check/replace belt, check the tensioner, idler, and fan mount. My bad fan mount turned really easily, had a bearing tick when spun, and had noticeable play in the shaft when I pulled up on it.

It's what the fan mounts to on the 5.7L. Pretty much just a hub, shaft, and bearing assembly. I saw some parts places call it a fluid coupler, but the one I ordered is marked "fan bracket assembly". It is a wear item that toyota recommends inspection and replacement of like the idler and tensioner pulleys.

Those are Black Rhino Aliso's. Originally wanted the Bronze color, but only 3 were available in the size I needed. Always a sucker for a polished lip.

Received my new rear bumper today and installed it.

here’s the original, it had a dent that was lifting the right side of the tailgate when opened and broke the original hinge.
    4CC247FF-AB6E-4421-A7F7-89EE1FC38723.jpg

The new one was a beast to put on. When using all the washers as instructed, the bolts holding the brackets to attach the bumper were sticking up to much to actually put the bumper on. There was also a little plate for the logo that was bolted on that I had to remove due to the hitch, it also made the bumper not fit.
    A7396110-EEB7-410D-A586-B906E01C69CB.jpg

In the end I got it secured and am very happy with the result. It’s a Nilight brand bumper, purchased from Amazon.
    5A898C07-5281-434A-A5E6-61E39CAFDD2F.jpg

Still need to hook up the LED lights, and I have a button for them, if anyone can point me in the right direction I’d appreciate it!

A few... Definitely more than 2
3 year old Costco battery had enough so replaced that. I did not take a picture (it was bordering on cold in the parking lot and I had places to be) but for imagination it looks something like this but I have extra winch battery cables now.
    IMG_2409.jpg

Also put some holiday spirit on the truck. I have a remote switch for my inverter which powers the light string from the bed.

Got the new PS pump on. Only problem is that toyota didn't include new crush washers. So, I have to go to town tomorrow to find either the correct one or a pair of generic crush washers that will fit.

Edit: thankfully, the guy at the parts counter not only knew what I wanted but also knew where to find it on their parts list. Got it ordered and it should be in tomorrow. I'll find out then if it's the right one, but it looked like it. PN 44327-30040.

Complete transmission flush and fill. Pumped out 3 gallons of old, filled 3 gallons of new. 225,650 miles on the truck, a little over 55K miles on the fluid. Didn't look very bad at all. Old on the left, new on the right.
