Just filled up today at $2.29/gallon in Houston. But that was with a 20 cent discount and finding the cheapest station in the area.

Hey I found these sissy sticks and they're real useful if you have heavy tires. You thread them on a lug and it's easier to line up the wheel.

    IMG_1500.jpg

Also I replaced my chrome lug nuts (that I had covered with annoying black caps) with real black lugs.

    IMG_1501.jpg

Finally drove with the anti-sway bar and yeah it corners a little flatter but it didn't change my life or anything.

IMG_5239.jpg IMG_5240.jpg Added a second led light in the bed. These lights are kinda cool because they recharge via usb. I just put Velcro on the back. They stick perfectly to the headliner material. Also added the front cargo net and foldable steps for our dog.

I've always used these nets for SUV's but had never even thought of having one on the cab. Kinda like the functionality of this.

Installed the Meso Custom map lights. They can be red or white.

Side by side with upgraded LEDs on the right:

    IMG_1510.jpg IMG_1509.jpg

They're just ok. They're function-over-form for sure, which is a nice way to say they're ugly. The rows of white lights aren't the same length. There's nothing diffusing the light so it's bright but harsh. The red light should be amber, because red is a little scary but the white is too bright at night.

Here's how the red lights the interior:

Left my done light on in sub zero wind chill temps last night. Thought the battery was toast but drove around for a few hours and she's holding the proper volts again. Hooray for not having to buy a new battery right now.

I like them! The red glow is ambient and moody. All the LED light talk has me thinking I might also be able to repair the flickering 'burnt-out' junk lights I bought for a bargain (twin packs - Luminaire brand) at the Depot a few years ago. 50,000 hours... NOT! Tried to replace with like kind via the rain forest. Not happening. But there's same color / 11" available with frosted smooth globes. Testing fine so far and they're brighter without being too brilliant. Color temperature is everything with LED's. I detest being followed by strobing headlights and the lights over my dining table!

You can’t seriously be driving around with only four Lugnuts holding on each wheel :frusty:

You remove the sissy stick and replace it with a lug once you get a few other lugs on. It's just a tool to make mounting wheels easier. I wasn't showing a final picture.

Huh? Are you saying if I had led's installed in my interior dome lights I wouldn't have drained my battery? I know I'm slow, but I'm definitely confused here.

Funny, I'm also looking at Racedeck right now. Debating between FreeFlow and Garageflow to deal with the snow and such of winter.

I have them too- they are bright and ugly, give it time. You’ll get used to it and learn to love them. They have performed better than the led bulbs I’ve had in there before.

Installed a new hood, grill, and headlights over the weekend. Waiting on a passenger side fender to come in to complete the repairs from a mishap a while back.

The coachbuilder rear shackles are another good option to level the rear.

Are those the Saulin Terramax RTs?
    What’s your wheels size/offset?
    What are your initial impressions?

I have the +3 and the rxts had to get rid of the block still needed about two inches... did a torch aal with long center pin. I thought about doing custom Alcons but was to much...

Yup. kinda have the same tread pattern as the nitto Tera graplers much softer though. More rounded on the treads also... been good in the snow so far have not got stuck yet, pretty crappy on ice but that is expected if not studded... I like them got them soooo cheap at simple tire and their ebay store I payed less for them then I did for my 35s!!!
They are the ion 134 18x10 -18 offset to clear the coachbuilder tre. I have yet to do a bmc and only get rub at full turn in reverse.

What did you do with your rw wheels? It does look good with the bigger wheels. They appear that they fill your wheel well fully. Are those 295/70/18's?

I have been eyeing them as well in the same place but probably don’t need them until next winter. Haven’t seen much about them yet so appreciate the good info so far on them thanks! I won’t have to worry much about ice down here. I’d be more concerned with tread wear and balancing. I would be mounting them on 18” method 701s with -25 offset and have the BMC done already.

Have you had your truck re-geared to accommodate the larger tire?
