Here are mine. Nothing fancy. Morimoto 2.0 / Apollo Full Circle. Hid projectors with 6500k color temp. 80 mm Halos. The projectors have 2 way, High/ Low beam. I couldn't restore my factory headlights to my liking, so I bought aftermarket. I wasn't worried about function per say, just fitment. I liked the way they turned out. If you are gonna do it, then the Retrofit Source is the only way to go. Great product and customer service. I did not do a write up, as my friend that helped was on a tight schedule. Let me know if I can help. Good luck 5a2a7b50157827b5b40ae7a7d9e3fa9b_953b437182445e944a6e8ac478b7b585925efb5c.jpg47a1dae65b9209a505422af6518f82f5_07fe6a298db73312a53f6afadfc53f88af352e27.jpg17a13ea9900f004bd53128750de59c04_bd9f59b841393cc99f0fd6a439a104c9ec1bb024.jpg

One quick thing, I color matched my shards. You do this once you pull headlights out of oven. I went to my local auto parts store and they color matched and put it in a spray can for me. 2 cans @ $20 per can did the job.

My mod was not fancy, but necessary. I had originally undercoated my truck, but after 7 winters with chemicals and salt, the underside now has substantial surface rust. I scrubbed it with metal brush, used Rust Reformer, then undercoated it. Not a professional job, but it looks a lot better than before.

    After undercoating

I was impressed how little rust the frame itself had. Beside few very minor rust spots, the frame was pretty much spotless. I undercoated it anyway.

Toyota steps were still good, but the mounting bracket showed some serious rust. This was the worst-looking bracket.

Now I am good to go for another 7 years.

Wire brushed the rust down and painted with rust inhibitin paint. It's a wrinkle finish black. The rear end and leafs looked like the spare tire still does. I'll do that tomorrow after work. 20170716_155709.jpg

Installed the shorty antenna, EleDobleU black-housing retrofit headlights, and debadged (but that needs more work to really look clean). Also brought it up into the mountains for the first time for a bit of camping. Handled the pitted dirt trails and inclines way better than my old '16 Tacoma did!

Used my CD player for the first time. Sucks it doesn't read the CD and tell you the album, songs, etc. Guess I've been spoiled from using my ipod most of the time.

While I was underlining the truck, I noticed some surface rust on TRD exhaust pipes (tips and mufflers are in pristine condition). I painted those with high temperature black paint.

Did you cut out the uprights to get the bar lights to work, or did the bumper had a large mail slot?

That's what 4x4 is for. Engage and you can torque, if one wheel is on the ground.

Good to hear that. Did you seal yours to prevent moisture inside? I've read some guys do that with the cheap bars.
