So...I like this. I should do it. Did you replace an existing covering? I have the plastic standard center console, does it fit over that or is it to replace the leather on trucks that came with leather? Also...heater? In the center console? Is that just to keep your arm warm in winter or....?

Yeah you peel off the existing vinyl and then glue the new one down. The heater is a standard aftermarket heat seater to warm my arm in the winter because I'm a delicate princess.

    Cleaned my throttle body. Before:
    DE28F3B9-584C-47D0-B13B-94847CBB3D44.jpg

    After:
    3183CD09-19A6-44FC-A807-23A239317B35.jpg
Is there a difference in performance, you ask? Of course. If this would not have improved performance I would not have chosen to spend an hour on a beautiful Saturday cleaning grime. I alone subjectively measure the results and I have decided my efforts were worthwhile. Perhaps you can assess whether confirmation bias is a factor but I cannot.

Serious question: I've read that cleaning the throttle body is important and improves mileage but I cannot imagine how that would be the case. While it was extremely grimey, the grime couldn't have significantly impeded the airflow, right? Especially wide open. Is this total nonsense?

I did the same a few months ago and man it was filthy after 100k+. I noticed an increased sensitivity to the pedal but no MPG gain. I will not wait until 200k for the second cleaning

It can theoretically restrict some air for at full throttle. It's mainly an idling issue for me. Anytime I would disconnect the battery, my computer would have to relearn the throttle body settings. When I realized I could just clean it and get rid of the stalling issues, everything changed lol. My pedal was really sensitive for about a week until the computer relearned the throttle body settings after cleaning it.

Woah you have so many buttons on your steering wheel! It almost feels weird, since mine is just like that one, but I have literally no buttons anywhere!

Wrap looks fantastic! What's that handle to the right, is that a shifter thingy?

All stereo and hands free calling buttons. Had the OEM stereo with Bluetooth calling but upgraded to a better system with an adapter to still use the steering wheel buttons. Was worth the extra cost

    Nice work painting the dash.

Replaced the front shocks so she’s now sporting four slightly used Bilstein’s. The Haynes book of lies seems to think that all you need to do is remove the lower bolt and four uppers and the unit will come out. Yeah right….
Letting go top knuckle joint didn’t help much, marginally better with the steering tie rod end removed but it wasn’t until I dropped the stabilizer link that I could actually get the old out and the new in.
Fixed the slow puncture in one of my reasonably new front tires.
And ordered new stabilizer links as one of them was a tad on the rattling side! Guess what’s on next weeks to do list…

Before some wag makes a comment about vinyl records being back in fashion, it might be prudent of me to mention that new rotors and pads are imminent as well. :spending:

Replaced leaking bilstein 6112s with new bilstein 6112s set on top setting. Not horrible installing them, took 3 hours with a helper. Probably could have been quicker but I boogered up a tie rod so had to replace that as well.

Yea I heard it can be a pita to swap out. I ended up buying a spare cover and just tinting it myself. Turned out alright

It's all LED, does not use any of our old bulbs. They look great, now I have to see how they do when it rains... They have resistors so no hyperflash even with Morimoto fronts.

The cover comes off with 4 screws. Then just tint it and put it back on. I installed some bright leds in there as well since i tinted it darker

I did mine myself, not perfect, but good enough not to deal with the headache of having to swap it out!
