What have you done to your 2nd gen Tundra today?

Where did you get those I've been looking for a half slick for drag racing but still having mud cleats for off road traction. A true hybrid tire of a Drag radial slick/Maximum off road traction.

 

Applied Fluid film from the can, toke 3 1/2 cans I ordered a 6 pack. Came out pretty good, can't complain other than I smell like wrestled some sheep.

next I'll have to get some scotch bright and high heat flat black paint and clean up the exhaust and give it a couple good coats, should look pretty good after that under there.

well got it done , got it cleaned and painted with VHT header high heat flat black paint all the way up to down pipe.

Sweet spare tire

 

its a blue tooth spare ... the rubber was weather check to hell and was the original from 07 toke it out due to weight, but got tired of looking at it against the garage so removed the rubber and threw the rim buck up. I do carry a Smitty built plug kit.

 

not sure if the tundra spare is like the sequoia but i took our 2020 sequoias down and it had big indents on the side already from rubbing. a few thousand more miles i can see it rubbing through it. shame on toyota for that

 

Yeah it's like that and it sucks. Has anyone figured out a way to protect the spare? The wheel rusts real bad too.

Ordered one of these to kickoff the process of getting rid of all the chrome/silver on the interior.

Put on new side steps and new license plate back up camera. Someone hit me in the parking lot when we were at a hotel for a few days. Insurance has given me the run around but finally got it to where they will approve vandalism and no point and rates won’t raise just have to pay $500 deductible. Local body shop quoted $2200 for a new bedside. After that’s all done I’ll put on some bed stiffeners I found on Amazon. Oh yeah and a pedal controller, hopefully that can help with some mpgs so we can go camping this summer more often.

Also saw my friends new car it’s pretty awesome loudest car I’ve ever been in.

 

I've seen pistol grip shifters before, but this is the first knife grip(?) I've laid eyes on.

Yeah I’m stoked to get it installed. It’s billet aluminum and G10 for the sides. Should make for an awesome durable shifter. Not to mentioned made in the US or even better my home state!
