boyer2002, the AIP has been an ongoing issue with 2nd Gen Tundras. It is not a (Recall,TSB) , but Toyota is repairing it@ no cost to owner. 10yrs/ 150k miles. I will say that the 2011& 12's, they were not honoring it. Why this is, makes no sense. If your Tundra goes in limp mode and trac lights come on, chances are it's the AIP (Air Injection Pump) . Hope this helps

@rons23 - thanks for the explanation, I have only had this Tundra for 2yrs and I'm still learning about it's nuances.
Whereas, I am overly familiar with my '01 Tacoma that I drove off the lot over 15 yrs ago.

Well my lights were on when i took it over i dnt see the harm in calling them up and asking them.if they would do it under preventive maintenance. My sure the dealer wouldnt mind getting that warraty money.

So these showed up today. Hella Sharp tones... hating the yellow frames though. They are disassembled, and will be in the sand box tomorrow at work, before getting sprayed either, stealthy Gloss Black... Or do I do the Green that the brake Calipers and engine parts are done in? I'm afraid that green will be overkill behind the black grill. Just the yellow frames... the blue insides are staying blue, most likely will not show through the grill anyway.

Ya, the yellow is a little much. I didn't even know that the came in that color. I had some red ones on my Taco though. Black would certainly be safe, from a stealth perspective.
