    Howdy everyone,

I want to get seat covers for my 07 because my seats are starting to to wear down. Any suggestions on what could match a Red Rock interior? I was thinking black but I’d like other opinions

Just straight white - the night time photo makes it a little tricky to make out.

Yeah, I got the same kit, just ran out of time. I’ll have to wire up the hood lights another day.

Installed the Trail Toys A Better Trim today. It was a bit of a pain because they really fit on there but I won't have to worry about rust settling in into the newly cut metal.

Installed the J&L oil catch can last night, then installed 3WLiners auto up/down window closer today. Sat around an hour trying to figure out how to run the little power wire through the rubber grommet from inside the door to the battery. Finally found a wire in the door to supply battery power, and used that instead. Works pretty nifty. Don't know that I'll use the key fob feature much to operate the windows, but it works.

They said it couldn't be done.
    They called me crazy.
They said, I'd have a better chance of punching Santa Claus in the face.

Well it looks like I just punched him in his fat fucking face, because I made the caliraised led molle panel made for a crewmax, fit on a double cab.

I used an old bike tire tube as a sleeve to help reduce any chafing that would take place between the bed and the brackets.

Now I can fit my recovery boards, propane tank and pro-eagle jack in the back.

On my CrewMax with memory seats and mirrors, the outer mirror control ECU module is mounted on the driver's door just below the front edge of the window. There are two plugs into that module, N7 & N8. N7 is the smaller of the two, and pin #3 of N7 is constant battery power. It's a red wire with silver bands. I tapped in there.

Every window (not the rear window, just door windows) will operate up and down with one touch from the driver's master switch panel. I'm not sure if they will also from the individual door controls, but I doubt it. I'll check that today and edit this after doing so. Checked this out, and as I expected, the windows operated from the individual passenger seats work as they always did, i.e., no auto up/down.
Any door window left open when you lock your truck will close by pressing the lock button on the key fob. All door windows open by pressing unlock-lock-unlock on the key fob.

This youtube video, embedded on 3WLiners website, shows what the unit does. In his installation, he shows the power taken directly off the battery, but he doesn't show how he got the wire to that point. The kit comes with the long power wire, but also has a another fuse on a short pigtail. That's what I used to supply power. Everything else in the kit is plug-n-play. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JasNy3ewPIQ

When I went to the 3W website a few minutes ago to grab that video, they infortunately indicate now that the units are on backorder.

went to purchase 2 cases of transmission fluid at the stealership

Guy at the parts desk: You don't need to change the fluid on the truck... Its synthetic blend no need for maintenance, manual calls for no maintenance

I asked: If the transmission shifts funny and codes say change fluid as per the manual, what should I do then?

Guy at the parts desk: So you needed 1 or 2 cases...

    LOL...

Its on the list to do now.. trifecta.

I’m going to put this on my wish list too. I have an aftermarket remote start, wonder if this will work with the aftermarket key fob?

If the fob unlocks your doors, it'll work this, too. The module that controls the windows takes its cue when it senses +/- voltage to the door locking solenoid.

Installed the RSB. I had the TRD bar powder coated semi-gloss black locally for $75 prior to install.

    57254700-0B5F-4AFE-AA11-728A439DCC6F.jpg

Also scored a TRD dual exhaust locally on offer up for $300 a couple weeks ago. It already had the VHT black sprayed on the tailpipe sections.

Overall I am very pleased with the changes out back!

    Awesome score! I'd buy that.

There was one local to me for $750. Doesn't tempt me.

Removed anthracite plasti dip from wheels and re-dipped them black sapphire. Did it in the dark so coverage wasn’t perfect. Oh well. Just have to make it until I can find cheap Rock Warrior 17’s and 35’s. Ha!
Adarac M Series black bed rack on its way!!!
