I tend to push my sensors until I can hear them scream for help. Being the owner of a pick up taught me geometry a class I failed multiple times in school but better late than never lol. Glad you didn’t tear those bumpers off that’s for sure I would cry for that Land Cruiser

they screamed until it stopped and i thought i was clear... next thing you know i give it gas and her entire car moves...i knew a fuged up then.

Her cruiser is a little bruised up. The missing paint under the light was from her backing into a hill.. the big obnoxious stuff was me

Changed the steering rack bushings to polyurethane while I have the whole front end torn apart for 6" lift. I'm not sure if the lift brackets are going to block access to remove the rack bolts later.

I'm going to try cracking the clamshell diff open and welding it this weekend if I can get it apart without too much work. :monocle:

Yes. ARBs are expensive. And if you're putting in a locker, you might as well get 5.29 gears too. Next thing you know you're $3000 poorer.

I think I'm going to buy a slide hammer tomorrow and remove the half shaft. That way i can completely remove the carrier from the rest of the axle assembly.

I did this wrap a few months ago and it still looks really good. I used the double stick tape on the front…and I can definitely see a faint outline and it kind of bugs me. Not worth redoing! Took 4 hours.

    Pretty things
I think you'll like the Eibachs.

Been rocking them for about a month and liking them more and more.

I really need to get on some trails, but the truck is way more engaging to drive around town. To the point my mileage has taken a definite hit from being more aggressive on the throttle.

My other main driver is quite low and relatively stiff, so I quite enjoy being able to disregard speed bumps in a drama-free way.

Git yerself aligned and start breaking those bad boys in!

I like mine a lot! I've had them on for a good 2-3 months now, I've got them set on the top setting (added weight of my front bumper) and I'm gonna get aftermarket UCA soon

Got it aligned today and it’s rides super true and extremely nice. No UCA was required which was nice. 295/70 don’t rub at all either which was surprising but also a relief. I did cut the “wings” off the skid plate to be sure but that’s nothing to serious. This was with it installed with the 2” option.
Hope I can help with peoples decision on lift and tire size.

Edit: I have a very very light rub on the sway bar in both directions at full lock. You cannont hear it inside unless the radio is off. I only noticed it from tiny feedback in the steering wheel.

Did the first of 3 drain and fills on my trans. I was expecting it to look worse after 175K. I don’t think the previous owner ever changed it. I was happy it didn’t have a burnt smell. My daughters boyfriend works for a dealership and got me 2 cases of WS fluid for $8.00 a quart.

Added a new trd rear sway bar this afternoon. It’s truly amazing how much room is under these trucks when the spare tire is removed.

Replacement mirror! Dealer installed a backup camera mirror at purchase, a few years later a screen was put in the dash so it's been moot. Had a replacement windshield installed and the guys found out that it was superglued on due to a missing bracket, so off it went. Cut the cable, tucked it into the headliner, and the "mod" is restoring the mirror to OEMIMG_4383.jpg IMG_4388.jpg IMG_4389.jpg

I'm always afraid some db would take the magnet and run with it. And the price is $10 vs $40. I'd rather pay the $10 and then donate $30 directly to a veterans charity.
