Thanks. I'd rather just pull the rad and do it.
I usually scrape and cut myself working it tight engine compartments. These days on blood thinners, it is a PITB to get the bleeding to stop....once I notice it all over whatever I'm working on.
Plus, I \can take a look at the AC clutch while I'm at it.

You can get to the tensioner from underneath. No need to remove the radiator just for that.

Found some brand new headlights and taillights on Facebook marketplace for 125 bucks! I installed the tails, not sure if I want to run the headlights or not

Greased the driveline with Lucas multipurpose #2. I was able to get to all zerks, but it looks like a needle was used on the front in the past. The old grease purged from pinholes in the seals.

I pumped grease until I was seeing clean grease come back out. Is this the best method for routine maintenance? I went heavy this time because I didn't know how long it had been.

Can someone tell me how many zerks there are that need to be greased? I've never done it an I know it needs to be done.

+1 on that. I think the color of the truck and those lights would blend in naturally. Just that picture alone you can see it

Got the Alpharex pros on today. Paired them with Vled micros. Got some Amazon led fogs with a black housing to throw on shortly.

    Nice upgrade!

I know how bad the fogs look when upgrading the mains to blacked out housings. The yellow light compared to LED is just as awful.

Enjoy the ease of fog light install... Just did mine last weekend

Headlights are Morimoto LED reflectors, and definitely loving them. The high beams are ridiculous.

Fog lights are also Morimotos, but they are 3.5" projectors, so there was some modding necessary.

Here's without lights to show blacked out look.

Put the headlamps in the oven today and painted them matte black. Just one more piece of chrome to paint.

I got the Alpharex DRL installed with red/black direct to the battery and grey to the ign fuse. Still can not get the DRL to come on without the headlights on.

Anyone got any ideas on this?

Replaced my Amazon ditch light brackets with CBI brackets. The Amazon versions were angled down too much but did have slots to zip tie the wires. But the CBI brackets are definitely better built. 41C67887-EDF4-4814-AE63-32B3FA0CE93C.jpg

Finally swapped out my gas pedal with the one delivered last week. I absolutely love it!
I used to have a 92 LS400 and it feels exactly like the gas pedal on that car. It responds when I want it to respond and gives it that nice power when I want that power. First day trying it but I can definitely do feel the difference.

Finally got it all dialed in! With the help of Edwin at Alpharex. Big props to the tech support over there couldn’t be happier.

Apparently the newer model I got has the amber sequential signal also!!!

I’ll definitely keep an eye on that though I have to be honest I don’t think there’ll be a change. At least personally I changed it because I hated how it would either give me too much power or it would hesitate when I wanted that power. And don’t get me started on the galloping with the pot holes (btw I did cross a few today and had no hesitation or whiplash rode right thru them and kept a constant throttle). The only way I feel that it’ll improve MPG is no more crazy response, no more accidental over gassing. But I will keep an eye on it I’ll report back in a few weeks
