285/70/18 nitto exo grappler. Supposed to be an awesome tire. Hope I'm not making a $1200.00 mistake. Been chatting with a guy on here that just put them on his truck and so far he's happy. That size looks perfect to. But with all tires, time will tell.

Nice, I was thinking about getting DR's on mine too. They're supposed to be great for snow to. I decided on the exo grappler for the size. Bigger by enough but not to huge. According to nitto, they outlast the duratracs by something like 6-10K. Guess we'll find out in a couple years.

Did you take off the calipers off to paint them?

And what kind of paint did you use?

I washed mine on the way to the tire shop this morning, grabbed a new TPMS sensor from the dealer to replace the one bad one, programmed the sensor ID in a parking lot with my techstream clone between the dealer and the tire shop, and finally headed home rolling on a new set of 275/70R18 Duratracs. Then installed my rear Weathertech digital-fit floor liner tonight (installed the fronts yesterday when the UPS man brought them), and looked at it admiringly multiple times throughout the day. Was a good day!

A Pioneer AVH-X5800. dvd player, Bluetooth, SiriusXM and I had it hooked up to the tailgate camera. Didn't cost much (relatively speaking)

I backed mine into a honda accord leaving discount tire today. Stuffed the bumper into the bed pretty bad. I've got the stupid little rear view mirror camera, too darn small. How hard is it to wire a unit like that into the camera?

Mistyped It is a 2800 model not 5800 model. Still inexpensive.

Shimmed the rear of my yaw sensor to compensate for the change in rake, then performed Zero Point Calibration. That seemed to resolve the over-sensitivity in my VSC.

Added carrier bearing drop spacers. That solved the vibration I was feeling when accelerating from a stop.

Let's see... On the 4th my "silver bullet" got new shoes, right before going out to elk hunt. On the 9th she got an oil change. I added a couple of decals to make her unique. And this last weekend, I took her out deer hunting and we got a little muddy. Then it rained on the way home, so she's a real mess and needs a bath. But no bath until after the hunting trip this weekend. I also discovered that she's a real gas hog.

I cleaned off grouse blood off my bed rug on tailgate. Easy. Buy Bed Rug. Forget spray on liner. Actually both would be ideal.

Getting tired of the Duratracs? Saw the same size tires you have on a Chevy this weekend, damn they're beefy.

Not yet, still need to buy the wheels and coilovers. Trying to avoid putting a hurting on the bank account in a short amount of time.

295/70-18, they seem a lot bigger than 34.3x11.6 when ya look at em. When combined with black FN BFDs I they'll look downright spiffy.

Well not today, last weekend, while it was warm and I had time,
I washed & detailed then applied ReJex wax/polymer coating. (not an endorsement but I found it easier to apply than traditional wax/paint protection, seems to work too)
Is it redeeming that I drove it to work and let my Tacoma rest a little?
