Wash, clay, ceramic. Boom. Now she's ready for a road trip to Colorado/Nebraska were I shall flog her mercilessly off-road on the family farm.

I've read about ceramic in a couple of different posts. Is that something like a wax? Got a link? UV protection? Details, details....:monocle: I know google is your friend, but I just got home, am beat, and will look it up later, lol.

I dislike that "google is your friend" mentality. This is a forum! For people to talk!

So, I didn't use a professional ceramic coating. I used Hybrid Solutions Ceramic by Turtle Wax. I chose this one because of the YouTube channel "Project Farm". He did a shootout of several waxes and coatings and it did really well. A little bit goes a long way and I think the spray bottle will last a long time especially since this stuff is supposed to last for many months on the vehicle. We'll see. So far I like it. Easy to apply and seems like it'll do a good job.

Much appreciated. I don't have the luxury of a garage for my truck, so the Southern California sun does its thing on it every day. I worry about the clear coat of the hood and roof, so I'll give the ceramic coating a shot. Thanks for the link.

After installing the grill last week. I put in the Sequoia LED headlights yesterday afternoon. Thanks to
xrunnerdude67 for the harness to make it all work and taking the time to answer a bunch of questions.

Ceramic is becoming a loose term. A true ceramic coating is a hard coating that protects the paint/clear coat for 3-5 years. The application done correctly takes a lot of time and labor, and can cost $500 -1500. Some of the chemicals are being added to common waxes like the Turtle wax mentioned.

To protect your paint from UV, most decent waxes will help with that. Most waxes will only be effective for up to three months. The key is to keep waxed for best results.

Are the filler panels Toyota? Did you have to get painted?

Started installing the interior LED bulbs for the dome lights, etc. Will put up some pictures once its done, a little finicky getting the tiny old bulbs out and fitting the much larger LEDS into their slots. Way brighter inside the cab, makes it a usable night time space, as opposed to a dim cave. Very nice cheap upgrade!

Yes panels are Toyota got them painted at a local shop, then immediatly dropped one on a gravel driveway....of course it landed face down. They repaired and repainted at not charge.

There is a how-to out there. I'd consider this if it came in barcelona red.

Direct bolt on w/ some oem parts that you’ll need to order, check this thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/2020-sequoia-trd-pro-grill-conversion.55533/page-16

You can always get it painted like most of us do, my paint guy charged about $150

Just ordered the 2014+ tailgate lettering to go on my 2nd gen. Was thinking of putting it on the lower right corner of the tailgate like the 3rd gen. Does anyone know a place here I can find or provide spacing and overall dimensions? Trying to line it up the best I can thanks

From what I gather it should fit on the bottom section nicely. Hard to find any dimensions online. Scared to go out in the dark and measure someone’s tailgate

Took the Tundra to the dunes for the first time yesterday after adding ADS 2.5's front and rear and dirt king ucas. The truck handled awesome and I have no complaints. It was ripping through everything and then some. Also it was my first trip offroad with no swaybar and I have no want to put it back on
