Replaced my 4 different tread tires with brand new Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S all around. Also upgraded the wheels to a set of Lexus takeoffs. Went from the factory 18” to 275/60R20 size so a mild lift. I’m happy!! D180E377-2E66-4042-BDEA-80E7D55600C4.jpg

Those wheels look great! I’ve been eyeballing those wheels and wondering how they would look on a Tundra. Now I know. Well done.

    Thank you!
A very good friend of mine was able to procure them for me. Even with the Lexus center cap they look great! I am hoping one day to get some Toyota center caps so that they look completely factory.

The Lexus logo is so subtle, unless you know to look for it most wont even notice. If the cap is flat, search Toyota decal or sticker on eBay bet you’ll find something you like.

Unfortunately the Lexus center cap does stick out. I just don't know what equivalent size Toyota center cap will fit.

Turns out that the tundra didn’t have an exhaust manifold leak so I’m stoked on that. Got a synthetic oil change and e brake adjusted they gave me a killer deal for $119

I fixed a problem with the passenger side windshield washer. The driver's side sprayed just fine, but the passenger side was just a dribble. It turns out that there's a backflow valve (on the left below) that keeps the washer fluid close to the nozzles. It seems to stop up somewhere and block water flow to one side or the other. Without it, it takes a second or two longer for the washer fluid to get to the nozzle. The 8 year old hoses were still quite flexible, and all I had to do was slip the hoses off of the old fitting and put in the new one. If this happens to you, the replacement fitting is a 3/16 x 3/16 x 3/16 tee.

The problem is on the left, the solution is on the right.

Here's the end result. Both sides spray just fine now.

Thank you! This may be a dumb question but I only see one style of mirror cap. Does that mean 2007-2021 Tundras have the same mirror caps?

I also don’t see Timberland Mica as a color option but I’ll call and see if they can do it.

Yes, they are the same mirror caps from 07-21.

You likely won’t have any luck unless Timberland Mica was ever offered on a Sequoia or a 3rd gen Tundra. For instance, my truck is Pyrite Mica so I can get color matched mirror caps and door handles from a Platinum Sequoia from when Pyrite was offered. Pyrite was never offered on a 3rd gen Tundra though.

That doesn't make any sense to me either. Do you have the regular mirrors, or tow mirrors? From my understanding, the regular mirror caps fit from 07-current. I have a 2012, so I can't speak for anyone with an 08 model, but maybe they can chime in and help you out.
