Install was easy it’s three piece so it’s a cakewalk compared to a solid steel bumper like the shrockworks I had on my 4runner. I did have to drill out some of the mounting holes on the bumper’s brackets to line up but that was a quick fix.

FYI the welds aren’t the greatest but it’s held up so far and can be beefed up later on, it’s the best bang for your buck IMO. I also have some coach builder bumper shims awaiting install to bring it forward a bit and line up with the front fenders.

Awesome thanks for the reply. I'm also in the springs and was wondering how much did your tanner 4x4 sliders run you? Are they bolt on or weld on?

Welded on $750. I wasn't happy with the first install because the rear was too close to the bed. I took it back and had them fix it but honestly I won't be going back there.

    Truck looks awesome!!
So how much lift did you get with the alcans?? And what's the backspacing on those rim's do they poke out a lot?? I was really considering going with them. Could you share a side shot?

Ill get you side shot soon. The rims are 6in backspace with +25 offset.

As far as the lift, I have toytec shackles set at 1.5 in. The Alcan leafs helped me achieve the lift because my oem leafs were done with. I'm still debating on weather or not to set it to 1in setting because I want a leveled look. But when I go camp, I load the truck with roof top tent and all my gear, but have not loaded the truck with my gear because I've been so busy.

My low pitch horn died so I replaced with some Hella horns in blue. Ties into the truck color nice, pitch is a bit lower and more “american” sounding, louder than stock, and they bolted right up. All I had to do was make 2 little ground jumpers and stick the ring terminals behind the bolt when reattaching. Factory plug is just a spade connector and they slid right on. Best of all, they were only $19!

Yup. I had to cut some of the fins away from the rear of it cause it wouldn’t clear the hood latch otherwise but it works. It’s wedged in there pretty good. Just a cheap $50 Amazon bar. Works ok but eventually it will probably die. Want to get a good single row like a heretic or Baja designs but I’m going to wait till I put a bumper on it first, then do it all at once. Thinking smittybilt m1. Was looking at the VPR 4x4 bumper and I love the look and it’s lightweight, but reviews of the company are mixed
