Started on the plastidip bumpers. Did the rear today as masking is simpler and a thunderstorm is rolling in today, just finished up. Probably front tomorrow.

I am wondering the exhaust on the 3rd gen it’s a little louder than the 2ed gen. that is just the muffler right? I know it’s not the trd exhaust.but it has a different sound to it

Does your younger 2nd gen have a resonator, the older 2nd gen had resonators.

I finally got my SPC UCAs installed today. It being 100 degrees everyday I payed a local well known suspension shop to do it.

took them all damn day to install and align it.

Truck feels More responsive and solid as I had bad kluncking ball joint before.

got a weird thing after the alignment though. My steering wheel is a couple degrees off.

not sure if it’s a problem as the truck tracks straight and brakes straight. But just cruising straight down the road my wheel is clocked a couple degrees off

Sounds like they didn't have time to finish but though they should get paid anyway.

Did lots of exciting stuff today.

Drained/filled rear diff and transfer case (will do the front diff at next oil change)

Greased u-joints (looks like I could use a new center support bearing too :()

    Rotated tires.

    Fun, fun, fun...

It was pricey but high quality and i'm happy with the purchase. I think I got 10% off at the time.

Ran it through the car wash that is having free car washes for their grand opening. Haha. My clear coat has been peeling since I bought it 2 years ago so I don’t try and take great care of the paint since it needs to be repainted.
