Nice. That bumper looks heavy as hell.

I saw another post earlier with a truck with that same bumper. I'm going with the Rough Country 3rd gen bumper on my 2013.

not this one. thought it was maybe because it interferes with oem tow points, but even after removing them, there's a huge gap

Had to post this even though it isn’t a tundra. Help my friend install and wire these headlights and fog lights. Retrofit headlights, hid kit and fog light kit he was in it 1k! But they sure do look pretty cool!

I may or may not have primed all the bondo on my truck. I’m sad I won’t be able to bedline the truck for a few months now. We need to move towns due to work. So, primer grey once again.

Thoroughly cleaned the throttle body today and it needed it.
150k miles and I think cleaned it at about 75K before. First time I did not remove it. big mistake, inside was in bad shape.
I wish I would have done some before and after pics but just got into my work too about two hours. Looks like new now.

Did you just spray it down? Or scrubbed it too?

Hear bad stories post cleaning so I've never touched mine.

Spend a good hour scrubbing and spraying it. took some elbow grease to remove all the tarnish.
Started with a toothbrush but ended up using a green Heavy Duty Scouring Pad and spraying periodically.

    Radiator efficiency restored.

There were only remnants of the foam material that the factory installed to seal the top when I purchased the truck 3 years ago, and air was just roaring by the full length of the radiator instead of passing through as it's supposed to making it impossible for the fan & radiator to cool the engine as well as it should.

I finally got around to sealing the gap this morning.
    Total cost: About $8.00

Replaced rear axle u joints, carrier bearing, and added a 1” spacer while I was at it. (Yes I know the shop is a mess, I’ve been too busy with work to clean) upload_2020-7-21_22-28-52.jpgupload_2020-7-21_22-29-59.jpg

Went through that whole thread. Thanks. Any chance you took a pic or two to show where this drain port is located? I couldn't tell at all from that thread. Is it under the passenger carpet, through one of those rubber grommet covers?

I swear I never see mine drip, so i crawled under to check the drain (but my carpet is also dry, so it must be working?)

It's in the trans tunnel literally on top of the trans pointing down. Get to it on the passenger side of the trans. It's quite a reach on your back. And kind of hard to get to. There is a little slit at the base of that rubber cover that you are supposed to get into.

I used a long blow nozzle. Not sure I did much good but saw it dripping a little and called it good.

    Quick update on this:

The unit doesn’t have any monthly subscription fees as expected, but it must be installed by a certified Viper dealer/installer. They are the only ones with access to the website to set up the customer account. So, I have to wait until the next time I’m in the city for install. I’ll update again once installed. :hattip:

I looked at the Viper website and it appears that there's no fee for the first year, but that free year only includes some minimal functions. After that, it's a yearly fee. Did I miss something?
