No subscription needed for this unit. Just a free viper app download. I’ll update the thread on how the install goes once I get it if you like.

Pretty good day today. I went about vacuuming the truck today. Then, I thought I’m half way there to do the fold down seat mod. So I did that next. Then, I thought I should toss the under seat storage unit I have in for fun. Then, I thought I should see why everyone says no sub fits behind the seat. As I’m looking I though, pretty sure the factory would fit there. Sure as shit- there it is. It’s obviously just laying there, but I’m hella stoked on underseat storage and a sub. I’m thinking I can craft a sub box that fits here in the space with more volume than the factory box. It’s gunna happen. :D

Peeled and painted my chrome grille. Got the metallic color pretty close and has divets and what not but turned out pretty good. Still need to clear coat it the shite out of it but fishing was a-calling! Happy Father’s Day everyone!

If the chrome wasn't prepped correctly the paint will crack and spiderweb after time. I just ordered a new painted one for mine so I can have it color matched.

I peeled it all off using a glass scraper. It was already bubbling and peeling with the adhesive/glue going. I hit the ABS up with a grey self etching primer for 3-4 coats.

Got bored earlier. Took some high heat enamel to the ugly stainless exhaust tail pipe. (don't mind the water from all the rain we've been getting)

You may lose some low end torque and mpgs with that intake. Aftermarket intakes don't do anything for these trucks and the OEM is a CAI.

Went 1/3 changing gear oils. Transfer case plugs no sweat. Fill plugs on diffs, cake. Drain plugs on diffs, stripped as a mother. Hex heads for the plugs?!?

Going to try the air hammer tomorrow.

    Never give up.

There are certain trims that you have to run 2 wires and tap them. I had to do it on my 2010. They all have the harness, but certain functions wont work...that's how you know if you need to add those wires.
