I got real dejected with my headlight project, knocked out another on my list. Reworked my garage storage and workspace. Scored the Craftsman cabinet for $140 and wifey let me pull the trigger on the HF Yukon workbench.

And Tundra related, because it fits by the skinniest of margins, but wifeys ride lives in here.

    THANKS!

They're just laminx'd stock 2nd gen fog lights that really just give it a decent look rather than actual function. I don't have any photos with them on as they heat up very quickly and cause issues with the laminx film.

Following my dobinson leaf spring upgrade, I'm planning on having the diode dynamics SAE fogs installed in their place

I've installed the EAG LED Grille on my 2007 Tundra and it looks awesome. I also ordered the 2010 grille brackets for it to fit on my tundra. The only problem I have now is that the OEM bottom grille support bracket that is suppose to be transferred from my 2007 OEM grille to this grille is too short and I'm having a lot of trouble finding that part. Any advise?

Just did my rear brakes. Pads and rotors. Got a nice deal on some NOS Brembo OE replacements $157 delivered for brembo pads and rotors is not a bad deal in my book. Can’t even do pep boys or autozone pads and rotors for same price after taxes.

I was worried though because the brembo parts only state they fit land cruisers and lx570s but once I took them apart they are the same!

truck is super smooth now upon braking!

Nice. Thanks. What did you do up front? Tried looking on eBay and Amazon for the front pad and rotor kit but no luck.

I'm driving from Houston to AZ to visit family and where I grew up, figured it was a good time to invest in a radar detector. Mirror mount and going to hardwire it in.

I installed S-V.4 LEDs (H11 and 9005) in my factory headlight housing a few days ago, but I wasn't able to do any night putting until last night ... wow! ... I can see like never before, and I hardly ever needed to turn on the high beams on dark country roads - amazing upgrade. I like them so much, I ordered a set for my 2002.S-V.4 LED.jpg

    @TG705 @TheBeast @MTRock

Y’all already know I’m going for 480 more haha.

The miles are mostly highway, my Dad used this truck for work for ten years before I got it. He put 450 on it, and I’ve put 30 on it in about 2 years. I don’t drive it that often so need to celebrate tenths :p

My miles are much harder than his were haha

Yesterday I pulled an Audi SUV and a 2WD Suburban out of the sand at the 4WD beach on the Outer Banks, NC. The tide was coming in so both of them were going to get swamped before the tow truck could arrive.
Afterward, I gave it a good rinse to get most of the salt and sand off of everything.

The Audi was a piece of cake. Didn't even have to air down.

I had to pull the suburban out twice. It had low profile tires and couldn't move even after I got it back on top of the sand the the first time. That pig was heavy so I aired the General Grabber ATx's down to 15 psi and then dragged them backwards for about 300 yards to get them back on pavement.

Best part: They gave me $150 for "saving them".

I used the funds to buy a 10 lbs CO2 cylinder and pressure regulator for a diy off-road compressed air solution.

Threw my headlights in tonight. Night pictures suck. Im running switchbacks so the yellow pops when the headlights or running lights are on. Also put amber led marker bulbs behind the smoked lenses. I think they turned out pretty good for my first time. Im going to post a full build thread soon.

Good on you to help out! Kills me that some folks think that IF they have a SUV of some type, they can get into the thick sand on the island.

But you got a CO2 tank out of it for having fun! :bananadance:

My wife made me watch that show. Funny, as they combined the county (Dare) & one of the cities (Kill Devil Hills) and called the town in that show "KillDare". The Netflix show looks nothing like the "REAL" Outer Banks and was actually filmed in South Carolina. I believe it was in Charleston.
