cleaned up battery area. Had a bit of surface rust underneath battery tray from previous corroded battery few years back. lightly sand then some rustoleum over it. Also cleaned up battery hold downs.
little project to keep me busy.

Not a Tundra, but I took delivery of a 2010 Sequoia Platinum today! Didn't take any interior shots, but it has the Red Rock interior. I wasted no time installing some mods as you can see below. 2018 LED headlights arrived today and trim pieces tomorrow.

What are some of your must-do mods? What's your favorite TechStream trick?

I have one of those sets of headrests for sale on eBay, I did a lot of research before listing it. There's different part numbers for double cab and crew max models that Toyota's website says aren't compatible. They are different shapes since the seatback is a different shape:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSd8rMVYleY
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYyYbvfGfiM

I'm sure the posts are the same distance apart and could fit in either truck, but if you need a cheap set just to fill in the gaps the DC ones seem to go for less.

I have the same Icon expansion pack from Wheeler's, I love it.

I was looking for tan. Hopefully I didn’t miss out on supporting a fellow member.

I found some on eBay. This guys eBay page makes him the headrest king. I think he had every car since 2001 covered.

I had looked at these before. Are you going to paint or wrap them? That was the turn-off for me, double the cost to have painted. Not sure of a wrap cost.

The install looked straight forward. Good luck!

Honestly, just masked all around it with frog tape and 3m mask, wiped it down with a microfiber, and sprayed it. Plastidip is fairly forgiving. it’s in a “high abuse” area so should last about a year or more, and then I’ll peel it off and reshoot

Painted the steering wheel emblem body color with touch up paint. Not perfect but not terrible. Not 100% sure how much I like it. Thoughts?

Looks fine. I did mine with touch up paint and it looks good. I did the inside the symbol too but that was with the tundra grey (MGM) so it blended nicely with the black steering wheel. I also sanded the emblem and put on primer.

Thanks! It wasn’t my first choice of color, but i love it now.

My truck is a limited, and I replaced the suspension with non-TRD SR5 suspension. Yes, installed myself. Rear end probably took 45 min total. The front end maybe an hour and a half total. Not bad for my first try.
