Thanks! I was trying to diagnose a weird 3-4 shift. But after the rebuild and trans memory reset it is still the same... so idk

I cant decide what to do for sure yet. Felling white front bumper and black back bumper but may go aftermarket with both all together.

Got my truck back today :D I ended up getting new tailgate. I'm digging my rear bumper from DV8 Off-road. I will say their a little confused over there. one guy said the bumper came with led lights, and 2 said it didn't, but you could install theirs :monocle:. I ended up getting some night lite leds from Amazon , these are solid lights for $25. Well.......the lights do come with the bumper, and the shop went ahead and wired them up instead of my lights i got

The guy said they were super bright, so I'll leave them in for now.

Started my battle with the rear shackles. Needless to say round one goes to the springs. I’ve been trying to remove the sleeve and it’s stupid crazy. Letting things soak to see how easy it is to get this thing out.
    I welcome any suggestions.

Installed the Morimoto XBs. Very happy with them. The DRLs are wicked bright and the low beam is also very clean.

I also fuse tapped the high beam circuit and added a switch that triggers my light bar relays so that i can control the light bars with my high beam steering wheel control (still have option to just run high beams by switching the fuse tap switch off).

Rock lights were installed this week that are wired into the bed light circuit. dirtlife wheels in the mail!

Got my bed sprayed finally. Shit isn’t cheap ha I went back and forth in my head for months trying to decide if I wanted to get it done after pulling out the old plastic liner. Glad I did though!

Those with a camper shell, and sleeping inside, how do you close your tailgate from the inside? I have no leverage to pull it up and i'm pretty strong, might have to rig a pulley or something against the camper shell's roof and use a string to pull it up. son bitch heavy

Did my front brakes (again) today.

last week put new pads and oem rotors. I didn’t like the way the calipers and lines looked so that’s what I did today.

stainless steel hoses, and new oem hard lines from Toyota as well as some refurbished calipers with a fresh coat of green for some pop of color as well some corrosion protection.

I have an 07 and sleep on a platform that sits about even with the top of the bed sidewalls. I usually just reach down and grab the tailgate to pull it up. It may be due to the angle as I'm not a big dude or strong.

honestly, I haven’t noticed yet. I did just a short drive to bed the pads again so no really hard braking yet.

I am still getting used to these pads.
Power stop z36 pads, they feel a little softer than oem and take a little more pressure to “bite” but I am assuming that they will feel better with towing or multiple hard stop applications.

I actually prefer a pad with more bite

Hi all. New to the 2nd gen stuff. I only occasionally work on my Mom's '08 Sequoia.

Its throwing a few codes, and entering limp mode occasionally. Sometimes the codes clear themselves according to her. I find this very strange, almost spooky even.

    20200418_111058.jpg

I don't have a screenshot of it, but I believe the other code was secondary air injection unit bank 1 was low.

    Which should be addressed first?
    20200418_104212(0).jpg

When the codes do pop up the VSC OFF, and 4LO light flash. With codes the truck is in limp mode. Still drives, but has no power.

I'm kinda stumped on this one before I began. I have done nothing other than clear the codes today.

I am not very good with the search bar otherwise I would have done that. Hell, I'm not very good with technology regardless.

^^^ could be speed sensor issue, you'll need a better/shop mechanic scan tool to tell you exactly what's wrong or which sensor has gone bad.

I'll see if I can get a shop to just scan the codes. My little rinky dink Scanner suits my needs. Let's me know if there is anything new at least

How do you like the output? Their site says they work with the leveling motors. I wish I would have seen them when they were on sale. Right now I have Vled micros in my stock housings.
