Had a tint strip installed, 20% to match the res . I love it... only wish I would have went longer. The local laws say 5 inches (idk why I care to abide by them now, when both front windows are in violation already) but when I measured it, I got 4 so kinda disappointed by that but makes a hell of a difference!

Also got the GM tow mirrors wired up, not sure If I posted bout them here

 

Added puddle lights to the mirrors.

I installed the oe Toyota emblem onto the grill. I couldn’t handle the grill without one. Happier now

 

Finished my canvas dog hammock inspired by @Over the LINE. Added a $8 target twin bed sheet set to cover the factory seats since the canvas tarp I bought from tractor supply co had some yellow wax coating.

 

Refreshed my headlights with the Sylvania Headlight Restoration kit off Amazon. Took some serious elbow grease but it came out great.

Finally finished the de-chroming! Ran out on the front bumper, but it got enough of a covering to not need to go to the store for another can. Will do that another day. Love the way it looks. This color is better with the blackout. Even my wife likes it better this way!

Took the kids for a rip and some silly trail trees tossed some deep scratches into my freshly refinished headlight When will I ever be mature enough to have nice things.

What product did you use for the bumper(s)?

 

Painted and installed grille lettering (a couple months ago actually). In the last 2 weeks painted front and rear bumpers. Yes, i painted chrome, yes i know it probably wont last long at all. Also sanded and painted the hitch and surrounding areas. These bumpers and hitch rust like crazy!

 

It's just Plasti-dip. It's now on my grill, emblems, wheels, door handles and both bumpers.

Pulled all 4 off the truck, put index cards around between the wheel and tire, sprayed 5-6 coats,getting pregressively thicker. It's only been a week now. Just did one car wash. So holding up great so far. My grill has been a year and a half and it's looking good still.

 

I started fabbing the next piece on my roof rack. Starting to look like something




One day, I’ll own a hydraulic pipe bender so I can fab round tubing instead of square tube

 

Those are pretty expensive. I'd love to have one too!

But square tubing is nice and will get the job done! Looking good, man

Nice that looks rad, thanks for the idea. I’ve been tossing ideas around for sure. I think I’ll build the main structure toss it on the truck. Then I’ll scope out where I want to mount things and what extras I want.
