My 12 RW Crewmax just turned over 60k miles today. Being that it is eight years old I figure, what the heck... I'll drain and refill the trans fluid while doing an oil change. Rotated the tires too. This is by far, the best truck I have ever owned.

    These came today.

I also ordered a set of 4 Hertz 170 Woofers & tweeters from Tech12v (with adapters & harnesses) in the group buy.

I'm going to use these woofers in the front door, the tweeters from this and 170 woofers in the rear door and the rest will go in the Wife's Prius.

I was on the fence about that setup, and ended up going with the Alien Gear setup. How strong is it? Any movement when you hit a bump, pothole, etc? I definitely don't want to drill into my console on a new truck down the road.. Nice mod:thumbsup:

It’s the pioneer 8200nex. All you need is an hdmi input in the stereo plus a usb for power (tho the usb could, in theory, be from anywhere in the truck, it simply provides power to the nintendo mini).

I have the alien gear holster and love it, but even as comfortable as it is long drives can start to get annoying. This way I can take a break from it on my hip.

I definitely dropped the dash first to make sure I didn't hit something with the screws. Its doesn't move at all, and has a 35 lb. Weight limit so neither does the gun. Works great!

What did I do to my 2nd Gen today? I had it towed to the shop when I found the puddle of antifreeze under it. It turns out a bleeping rat chewed a two inch section out of a bypass hose. The hose is a dealer only item, isn't in stock in the DFW area, and is on order.

Hopefully, regular sprays of this will keep them away.

6 and a half hour full blow inside detail. Had a funk in the ride. Found where my grand daughter hides her chicken nuggets. I thinking been there bout a month. Very nasty.

You still have plenty of life left in that truck. My 13 RW just cracked 128k on the way home today.

Tried to find a decent spot out of the way for my new-to-me CB radio. Only thing I can see is under the drivers seat. I would order a mic hanger for roughly where I’m holding it. Nothing is mounted yet I’m just thinking first :transformer:

Haha I saw that, I don’t even have a nav screen in mine. Looong way to go before I get to the Nintendo mini install haha. That’s the coolest 2nd gen post I’ve seen in a while!

Did the first oil change in mine today. Used Mobil-1 Extended Performance and OEM Toyota oil filter. Also did the cabin air filter. I’m missing 1 of the skid plate screws and 2 of the skid plate bolts. So off to the hardware store...

I’ve been fighting field mice in my garage for the last few weeks. I think I finally got the last one. I lay traps around the garage and spray peppermint oil around all the areas they’d crawl to get to the truck.
