    Interested also.
Since the RW never came in silver, I didn't think adding it AND having to have it painted would be practical. I would love to keep my Platinum insert but have the color matched bumper and surround. One day...........:fingerscrossed:

My research says there isn't a good matching off the shelf vinyl wrap available for SSM either. I want to dechrome and match my front and rear bumpers. Sucky options. But sure does look clean at 5 ft away in the dead of winter!

Used a "swirl" remover and a buffer pad, some pressure, and time...lots of time. followed by wax.

basically...meguires # 9 (or similar product) a "waffle" pad on a buffer, then a random orbital....then a wax. While I prefer the meguire products - there werent any available at 5:00 am when I was up and looking - so whatever walmart had available....

Yeah, I was going to visit a local vinyl shop and compare colors eventually. My understanding is painting over the chrome is a labor intensive process.

I painted my chrome and it wasnt labor intensive process. Its like everything else make sure the chrome sanded well. Basically leave it dull looking. I did it to my mirror caps and grill surround.

$319 shipped to my door. That includes the brackets and TN sales tax. Not sure what colors are available. White was one of the few rock warrior colors from the factory. Anything other than black white or red might have to be painted to match. Still waiting on the grill but the headlights arrived today.

Black, White, Red, and Magnetic Grey were the four RW colors if I’m not mistaken.

Still debating color matched door handles or just black. I think the black ones look ok on white. Maybe I can buy paintable black door handles? Noticed my tow mirrors will clear the garage door today when I forgot to fold one in. :eek2:

20191221_113000.jpg Installed rock warrior grill. Shipping tracking said the brackets wouldn't be here till Monday. Door bell rang and I got a nice surprise this morning. Any ideas for refreshing the bottom black plastic to match the grill center? How about that wipe new stuff?

Got some new shoes for her. Joined the 295/70/18 setup and loving the Cooper AT3’s... A few mile drive home was so quiet I thought I was riding on air compared to the Toyo Open Country RTs I had earlier. No rubbing or figment issues so far. Don’t like the wheels so that will be next on my list of things.
