What have you done to your 2nd gen Tundra today?

Wow! I don't disagree that it looks great and the light output is far superior, but if I had another $1400 available to put into my truck there's a lot of other stuff I'd do before putting that kind of money into the headlights.

No trying to pick on anyone or anything. I think the result is great. It's just too pricey for me.

 

I agreed initially. The more I looked at it & the more I disliked all the aftermarket lights I leaned towards these.

I was thinking about trading the 2010 in on a 2020 and decided to keep it so this is alot less than a payment for 4 years.

 

They are nice but not worth 10% value of my truck, imho....

 

My truck is worth more than 14k and I'm keeping it at least 2 more years so I'll get my money's worth.

 

Plumbed my airlines into their new home. Wiring the plug is next on my list, then wrap it all up out of the way.

 

NICE! I’ve got the same setup, except I opted for a 1” block in the back. Perfect rake right now, but sorta wish I went 1.5” just in case if more settling occurs (doubt it though).

 

Detailed my 2013 SR5 crewmax with 83,000 miles and my 2000 TRD access cab with 382,000 miles.

 

ha ha, nice i love it when the chucks can act as a nut and hold something else together...

 

I patched the front ends of my rear bumper. Welded the antenna tab onto the bumper. Then built the trailer wiring harness. Added a 4-way plug for the third brake light I ordered online last week. Next on the list is license plate provisions. Pretty excited with how this is turning out.

Finally removed the ladder rack and got rid of the swirls the seller left in the paint.

She cleaned up nicely. A decent 10 footer.

Hahaha, thanks @Dogmatic. It's Blue Streak Metallic, don't see many Tundras in the color. I think they only had it on the Tundras for a few years

 

I was able to program the Homelink garage thingy. Didn't work the first time, but it did afterwards.

 

Mounted my license plate to the bumper today. Went with a chain connection for fun. Will tie some led plate lights under soon.

 

Well finished my rear bumper until I bedline everything. Finished in primer currently.

 

Looks good. Got pics of the head ache amd the rails ?

Thanks dude. I bought a long box headache rack for $80 and modified it to fit the Tundra better.

 

I built it out of 2x6” steel rectangle tube.

 

It looks good! So your plain is to line x everything? That will look really good and hold up to the elements.

yeah i paid mine off last year and with all the money i am saving now i dont know what to do with it now then spending it on the tundra still... lol
