Bumps, bruises, and sore ribs and my bride has some really bad bruising on her leg and seat belt injuries. Most importantly besides my wife, two little boys in car seats in the Ford were perfectly ok. Was hoping my truck wouldn’t be totaled but when I started adding my hope kinda left! I think every air bag in the truck went off.

Glad it wasn’t worse. My guess by the photo, it will be close either way for the truck. They are replaceable, and it’s not always bad. That’s how I came to own a tundra.

I don’t know if y’all remember but I’m the one that posted “Not my current ride” with the smashed red Tundra. This was its replacement.

I like the fact that there are still wires on the dash.

Pffft, like I need to use ALL the wires...get outta here with that.

Next you'll be saying something crazy like, there are THREE headlights in front of the truck!

    Curse you Perry the Platypus!
That looks sharp!!!!!! I plan on changing my stock unit but always wondered what it would look like due to the curves of the dash. Thanks for putting my fears at ease!

Plasti Dipped the wheels. Brought a $20 Clist ladder rack back to life by welding some mounting brackets and installing on the rail system. Install an old tool box I had laying around on the rail system. I am finding this rail setup to be quite handy. No drilling into my truck. Also mounted a plate on my tool box that I welded chain to for my dogs.

Another Craigslist score. Found some 18" Toyota wheels with Duratracs that have a little life left in them. Gained 1-3/4" of side wall. I put my 20" Platinum wheels with 275/55R20 Yokohama Geolandar AT tires up for sale on CL. The tires have less than 2k miles on them. If someone here is interested PM me. I don't have enough posts to put them in the marketplace.

Also replaced all of the wood grain pieces, except for dash, with gray. Thanks to @Zero One Actual for the shifter. Threw in some https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DPWPCJ5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 fog light bulbs and adjusted them to point down as far as I could. The wife said they still look pretty bright when I was following her the other night. I'll only use them when absolutely needed.

What’d you do about the wood grain on the steering wheel? I hate my shitty polished faux-wood grain.

Rotated the tires and since the wheels were off , I cleaned them and gave the inside of them a couple coats of polish.

Got some Raceline Raptors put on the truck! Bad news is I pulled the plastic bed liner that was on when I bought this a month ago and found some rust in the bed. Gotta figure out what i’m gonna do bout that. 23527697-7586-4513-81D4-A676825BFA57.jpg D4A80368-189C-4312-AEAD-1B8A009405B9.jpg A45AC00E-0EFF-4342-8013-1C1258FA99E5.jpg

So I just got these today after seeing this post. Curious, how many 7.5 fuses did you go through? I bought out my local Oreilly's, they only had 2. Moved onto the 10's, same results. the first blew just doing the driver side foot well. It lasted 2 min until I put in the driver door then it blow. I removed both leds and replaced the fuse. Just did the door, blew it. The instructions said you might need to flip the light around to get right +/- connection. so I flipped and replaced the fuse. pop. tried the 10, pop.

    What am I missing?

Plastidip emblems, Pace Edward bed cover w/lumber rack, remote start, TRD intake and exhaust, TRD front and rear sway bars, color match grill surround, LED headlight upgrade.
When I did my 2007 Tundra the LED lights I got from Amazon did not have any shielding on the bottom of the "bulb. When I pushed the bulb in too far, it would ground out the light socket and pop the fuse. To solve the problem, I didn't push the bulbs all the way down into the socket. Sometimes you have to flip the bulb because LED lights are polarity sensitive.
The LED's I got for my current truck, had a plastic shield around the bottom of the bulb so I haven't had any problems with them.

Just changing bulb shouldn't blow a fuse. Either you are shorting the prongs or going to ground. This could be caused by install or the bulbs.
Think I only blew one fuse, shorting with tools I think.
