Thanks guys. The bronze is more awesome in person, has a little metallic flake in it and it’s not too brown and not too gold. Just like I like it!

Is that handle from a 2019 Taco? My pops drives one and I saw that tailgate handle and wanted it; measured it and it was the exact same size as mine; w/ camera and lock in exact same spot...was gonna try to swap...thanks for saving me some time...what was the issue?

The mounting holes aren't exactly lined up, and our handle is slightly bigger, almost rounded on the side. Can see the gap in the picture

Can drill out the mounting holes, but I don't think there's a way to make it work in handle shape on the tailgate.

Would the linkage inside work? The only issue is the external fit?

I installed new caliper slide pin bolts on one side today, after I found one totally missing the other day. :eek2: Been 2.5 years since the dealer I bought it from did the brakes, and that bolt had been missing a LONG time based on thickness of the rust on the caliper ear. All the times I've rotated / swapped tires and looked at the brakes I haven't noticed until now. Good news is it never swung out and hit the wheel, no damage done. For some reason I torqued them with a torque wrench to the 65 ft-lb spec and checked the other side too.

Added/bought a few things: steering wheel cover, led cargo/3rd brake light and mirror courtesy bulbs, Whynter 62 quart dual zone. Daughter got a toy while we were at the dealership buying those little plastic inserts that hold the trim on the tail gate.20190426_184446.jpg

I am painting my engine cover, fuse cover and the cover in the back that covers the electrical connections. I'm painting them red to match my truck. I saw a post where a guy painted his cover green and I really think it looked good ,so I'm doing mine in red. I'm in the process right now. Will post pictures when completed!
