What have you done to your 2nd gen Tundra today?

Plugged in my new Anker Bolt Roav so I can listen to music through Bluetooth, all the other Google assistant features are just a bonus

It's been discussed before......I think it looks a lot better.

 

Installed some Spyder DRLs and gave her a good detailing over the weekend.

 

Nice! Do those come painted or did you have them painted?

 

I had to paint them. They come in gray, black and silver. I used duplicolor 040 from Oreilly and the paint matched but the clearcoat left much to be desired. May have to re do it.

 

I just saw on the Spyder website that they come in Black, Silver, and unpainted (grey). I wonder in the Silver is Silver Sky (matched), I guess I need to contact them.

I didn't think Toyota "Clear Coated" white. Curious if it didn't match or you just didn't like the finished product.....

 

It's more of a satin finish than a gloss and doesn't match the rest of the truck's surface. . I probably just need to use a different clear coat.

 

Bedlined the plastics in the wheel wells.

 

Installed Flowmaster 40 and new black exhaust tip, bought new tires and gave her a much needed bath

 

How do you like the flowmaster?

 

I love it! I can finally HEAR my truck. Drone is a little louder than I wanted but it's definitely not so loud it drowns out the radio or the phone either. That's exactly what I didnt want.

 

Do you know difference in thd 40 vs 50 Flowmaster?

When I ordered the pieces below the headlamps from Toyota, they arrived in more of a cement grey.

 

That's a great color! Man, I don't know if I've seen one that color and there are tons of Tundras where i live....

 

The 50's are milder than the 40's and don't have quite as aggressive of a tone. I actually have the 50 series on mine.

 

Is this the same muffler?

Bedlined the bumper valance. Fits in nicely since I have the the rear bumper and step bars bedlined as well. Finished installing the newly painted bumper, headlight filler panels, and grille shell. Installed the Pro Comp rear add-a-leaf and started the Pro Comp traction bar install. More pics to come. I need to just start a build thread lol.

 

Do u make that splash liner? Looks good.

 

It’s the performance accessories gap guards for the 3” body lift.

did you use spray can bedliner or went to a line x place ? i have my bumpers line x and it has been solid and +1 for a build thread @airosey

 

Can you post a pic when you get a chance? I've been comparing liners, so far Ratpor seems like the most durable but I dont care for the finish. A little more grit or texture would help

 

Line X premium. Looks exactly the same as when it was applied 3 years ago...

I used Raptor Liner for the wheel wells, purchased the 4 liter kit on Amazon for $112 I believe. I had Bulletliner sprayed on the bed, back bumper, and step bars. I figured the Raptor Liner would do the job for the wheel wells (much cheaper too.) I noticed when reading the instructions that they have grit available the can be added in.
