Customized my skid plate on a recent camping trip. Also, on the way home, I had THREE frigging blowouts on my camp trailer. They resulted in the top of the left wheel well being punched out, a bigass hole torn in the bottom of the trailer behind the left well, fender flares on both sides destroyed, two missing/destroyed center caps and a bent front axle. Not to mention the fiberglass on both sides being coverered with black marks and the shiny aluminum wheels now looking like they were tossed in a clothes dryer. I was planning to replace the tires come spring, but I suppose now's a good time too. Oh yeah, and my dog threw up in the back seat. Other than that, it was a pretty good trip!

Added a Demello bumper. Still need a winch.

Ordered a MPG/info button off Amazon last week. Finally got around to installing it. Still don't know why they don't all com with this.
I had the 8 wire plug so all I had to do was pull apart the dash and run two wires from two different plugs. Took about 45min.
    Nice inexpensive mod.
Ordering tow mirrors tonight from TRDSparks :)
Stand by for those! Can't wait.

Interesting. I had no idea it would be that simple. I see in some of the comments on scamazon that all some buyers had to do was pull the blanks and snap this baby back in it's place. I might have to go pry mine out and see what's what. Thanks for posting this!

This will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know. Sometimes it's as easy as plug & play! Good luck!

Awesome link! I found that I have all 8 wires on my '13 so I guess now it's just a matter of gettting the switch and giving it a shot. Thanks!

No worries! Hopefully you're lucky and it's simple plug & play. If not it's still a very simple fix to make it work. It sounds like if you have a TSS, Rock Worrior, or TRD then it's plug & play. The rest are a toss up. Good luck.

Where did you get your grill? Pre installed letters or the BAMF letters?

BAMF letters. I went with the Tacoma 2nd gen ones, I figured the tundra ones might have been too big. The grille I bought on ebay.

Received some goodies from TOYTEC, very impressed with the aFe high flow drop in filter, and my toytec shirt. Picked up throw over terry cloth seat covers from Toyota, nice for here on the beach. uploadfromtaptalk1441575311946.jpguploadfromtaptalk1441575321553.jpg

I found them at Olathe Toyota, # 866-596-1970. This is not a item they have on there website. I ordered directly over phone. Price was around $55 that includes shipping. Bear in mind they are not seat covers, just throw over. Nice product for the money. If they don't have any then just contact your local Toyota dealership. Hope this helps

Does anyone have wood grain dash kits installed in there trucks? If so I would like to see a few pics please. I'm interested in it but not sure if I want to go through with it. I would like to know if it is factory or aftermarket also, thx.

Changed out the tonneau for my softtop for a quickie overnight camping trip. Less than 30 minutes for the entire swap. Easy as pie-

It's a Softopper brand. They're in your neck of the woods (Boulder). It's basically stock, but I had them replace the rear window with a darker plastic for "security" for an extra $20. The bastards can't steal what they can't see--or something along those lines.

I bought it roughly a year and a half ago for, IIRC, around $700. I had it on the truck for two weeks before yanking it to make room for my tonneau. It's been wrapped in an old sheet in the garage ever since. Have thought about tossing it on craigslist several times, but am now damn glad I didn't!

Didn't realize it was a Softopper. And you are right>Lib Land. Best to hang on to it. Thanks. give us a full review how you think about it when you get a chance.
