Thx! 1.75” on 285 70/17 with no alterations or rubbing.

If you notice in the 2nd pic, I have a slight rake, exactly 1.75” lower in the front. Information from Dobinsons is very confusing. I did as instructed and installed the front shocks at the lowest setting. Oh and that, for some reason the IMS shocks for the 2nd gen Sequoia uses the “C” clip setup for lifting, similar to Bilstein’s. It’s tough finding a Dobinsons pic of them. Anyway after the install I noticed the crazy rake, call Dobinsons and after discussing this with a few different people they tell me to adjust them to the 3rd from the bottom setting and this should get me close to level. Toyota’s doing the work tomorrow morning.

As is, ride is incredible. This is a family vehicle and my wife loves it. She doesn’t have an issue with the rake, but it’s driving me crazy.

Who did you order your suspension from? Any lead times? I’ve been debating on doing something to mine. I’m at almost 160k miles and need to think about replacing my suspension.

However I did buy an extra set of 2.5” front coil springs directly from DobinsonsUSA in FL. I also have an extra set of front 1.75” springs.

I waited almost 2 months for the rear springs directly from DobinsonsUSA, everything else they had on the shelf.

This is the after pic. Took the front IMS shocks to the third, top notch. Way better and amazing ride, way smoother than OEM.

End product, instead of the remote start, I went with the Toyota TRD running boards. These things are very well built. End product, for now.

Anyone have the rear cargo cover? I'm wondering how the cargo cover is attached between the 2nd and 3rd row as I don't see any mounting points.

I have one that came with the truck. It hooks on both sides in 3rd row area and behind it. These are the connection points

Just went out to the car to take a second look at the 3rd row. Looks like I have a cover covering the area. I would pop it off and hopefully the cargo cover will come with the necessary hardware. However, I think I may have talked myself out of getting one as I don't think it would see much use. Only reason I was thinking about it is to cover the reflection of things in my trunk to the rear window and dashcam.

I have it and put it upstairs immediately. I don't think I'll ever use considering the tint on my vehicle doesn't allow much light in, much less peeping eyes. If interested, let me know. I can sell it to ya if interested and ship. DM if interested or any questions about it

Just 2 car seats in my Sequoia now. Does the 3rd row have lower anchors? I think it would it be possible to have the 40 section up with a seat and the 60 section down. Asking for a friend.. ;)

no anchors in the back. so i use the straps and all to hold them down. not too sure why they don't have them tho. my wife's van has power fold down seats as well and hers has anchors in the back. the car seats are too wide to do just the "60 side" anyway. it would be nice tho.

Just a hypothetical situation to have two car seats in the 2nd row, one car seat in the 3rd row, and still have enough space for a Great Dane.

I use the cargo anchors in the trunk for the 3rd row car seats. I have diono car seats, which are slimmer than the other brands so it gives more space to passengers who are not in car seats. An adult can still fit in the middle of the 3rd row with the 2 car seats back there, although, when I say adult it's more like a medium sized adult.

Finally upgraded my head unit. I have the JBL audio and was never impressed by the sound but it was enough for me. However, after I installed the Kenwood, wow, the speakers really woke up! The sound is so much clearer and louder, more bass, more everything. HD radio is amazing, something I missed in my X5 when I got the Sequoia. Even Spotify on my iphone sounds so much better. Flac audio files on USB drive is superb. I was skeptical at first about how much quality would improve with aftermarket headunit but not anymore! The screen is also fantastic, I can finally see the screen with sunglasses on. Before it was an issue with the backup camera but no more. The backup camera image looks better on the screen also, so image quality was neutered by the Toyota headunit.

Installed a CarMount phone holder. My case already had a metal plate on the back. So I just needed to install in holder in the vehicle. Not a lot of places to mount one where the phone doesn't block something or has a nice, flat spot to mount. Happy with the mount as of now. I was just tired of my phone sliding around and all.

i looked into that one (or similar), but didn't want to block that air vent since thats the main one i like to have on me. plus, i don't really do the wireless charging, so it wasn't a big deal for me personally.

What's the front and rear axle ratings on these 2nd gen Sequoias? It'd be on y'all's door jambs.
