What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Cost me like 56 bucks a year and no kinda smog or anything like that here. You guys must really love California.

 

Paid $710 for mine last Monday. Brutal

 

Nope! Leaving as soon as I can afford to go! High cost of living comes with higher salary and I’m not at retiring age so I want to go early and that means significant pay cut...

 

Inferno! That’s the name of that color! And yeah, I remember seeing both a Tundra and a 4Runner in that color and really liked it.

 

So where do you want to move to?

 

AZ is high on the list, already have some property there but its off grid and not sure i want to do more than camp there so prob a home amd its a state that i can take my medical ins to.

Added some new speakers


Actually had to take the grills off because the door panel wouldn't go back on the right way.

I also added these black door handles which are for a Sequoia.

Wow those look great, nice job! It refreshing to see white HIDs, Color temp is perfect IMO. I don't like the blueish tint, so I'm loving yours. Nice work on the cut off too

 

Idk hohow much vehicle registration is here in CT, but it isnt as much as you all are describing where you live. Its also for multiple years I think maybe around 300 plus various fees crap, or and emissions aka smog every could years. So lets say $350 and that's for 2 years I think. BUT I do have to pay yearly property tax on my truck to the town I live in, this year it was $1136, just paid it.

 

Yeap they get you one way or another. Seems like they just adjust whatever other tax to make up for it. So taking one tax out of context isn't really telling the whole story.

 

Was it hard to swap door handles?inthink I might steal that idea replacing my chrome ones. If you don’t mind me asking how much they run you for?

 

All this talk about registration reminded me that mine is due in October... Ouch. At least I'm saving $90 vs California

I just payed mine few hrs ago. And California is close to that mines a 2019 not much more..40$ difference

 

It's just been crazy to me, coming from Illinois where registration was like $80 or so when I lived there. I was also basing my savings off @HappyGilmore's post so not exactly the most scientific way to do it...

 

It's crazy to me and I'm used to it! They did just raise our reg fees last year is what im told but I haven't noticed because at the same time they supposedly raised it I got the new truck.. my boat was only 35 tho!

 

I’m so glad I don’t live in California. I thought mine was bad at $109...

I’m about to retro fit these Method center caps to my Method Mesh wheels and powder coat all of it. Not sure on the color yet, I’m sure it will be black or maybe a dark bronze?

I got my Amazon center console organizer and was all excited to organize. It doesn't fit if you already have the crappy Toyota organizer. Failed organizer upgrade.

 

Got my windows tinted today. 5% on back doors and back glass. 40% on front door, because Louisiana laws, and 5% strip on front windshield. I love the way it looks!
