    Did the chalk test on my truck today. 2018 Platinum with 275/60R20 Falken Wildpeak AT3W 115T (51psi max).

    Inflated them to 45 and gradually lowered them down until I settled on 39psi in the front and 35 in the back - that's when the chalk wear was even.

    Anyone else running psi like this on some 20s? So far I like the difference in handling compared to the squishy OEM-size recommended psi of 30 front 33 rear.

    I know u been going back n forth on it, but if this helps at all, I think it looks great like that. It's different and matches the truck great. If I was you I would keep it like that and enjoy the benefit of what u paid for in the p.c. Just my 2 cents, now rest easy my son you did a great job with it, stop second guessing yourself lol.

    Don't mind me, yes I'm fully aware I have a truck mod addiction. Been watching for a deal on these for a while. My patience grew thin, couldn't stand to lock n unlock the tailgate many times each day anymore. That plus noticed I have over $20 in cashback so for $70 something shipped I couldn't resist. I have a feeling this is going to be an extremely useful and rewarding addition to my truck. Money well spent imo. I also decided to go this route instead of the cheaper way I've seen others go for the simple fact this branded product seems to be a slightly easier and less time consuming install. Even if it's only 20 min saved without further modification, I feel the added price is worth it imo.

    Let me know how you like it, I've also been thinking about one. Most times I don't have anything in the bed but it is a pain using the key to unlock/lock when I do want it. I've also read that they are fairly loud though, I might look at some sound deadening material to put in the tailgate at the same time if that's the case.

    Yeah I plan to put a bit of sound deadening around it. However I do like the fact that u can hear it's working. So I plan to lower the sound, but hope to still be able to hear it's working.

    The DIY pop n lock is just as easy to install and much much cheaper. You're paying for the name and packaging otherwise. I have installed both and see no difference in quality. The DIY takes slightly longer to do but its still a quick mod. Neither one is terribly loud at all. Standing near your drivers door you cant really hear the tailgate lock but standing near the tailgate you can, not much louder than the doors locking.
