First oil change done today. Installed my 3rd Fumoto valve and installed the aluminum Venza oil filter housing.

Also cussed whomever at the factory overtorqued those crappy plastic clips that hold the bumper to the skid. All but 1 was broke when I started, guess I need to track down the part number for these.

Thanks! I haven't done the mod to turn on the fogs by themselves, but I'll get a night pic of headlights alone and headlights with fogs when I get a chance. They really light up the side of the roads nicely, which helps me spot wildlife while driving the two lanes at night.

Yup. Here you go. Stupid plastic clips... I plan to upgrade the skid plate, in part to stop messing with these. But for now I ordered some extra because mine were broke the first time too.

Well, I redid these lights. Learned from my mistakes from the first time. Turned out great. Super happy. Did an oil change today. Toyota care ran out so no more free oil. Some things I learned:

1.) I've never made more of a mess in my life, jesus WTF.
2.) This cartridge system, compared to the very 'normal' oil filter in my 4th gen 4Runner, again WTF.
3.) I had to use a breaker bar to remove the filter housing. WTF. It was so tight I thought it might have been English threaded and I was trying to tighten it.
4.) The plastic housing is garbage, WTF4.
5.) The motivx tools were rad, especially the one that goes in the bottom of the filter housing.
6.) The new Fumoto F103N I installed should significantly reduce the mess.
7.) Christ this thing takes a lot of oil.

Got the front windows tinted the other day to 35% to match the rears better and installed a Lock'er down console safe. Also installed a 12 volt solutions remote starter today and tomorrow i'll be doing some Weathertech deflectors. Not a bad few days.

Sure, I don't have any pix of the process but yes I did remove the fogs to apply. I would say you don't have to remove them but it made the job easier. So, to remove the fogs:
    - Remove two 10mm phillips screws from under front bumper.
    - Remove one 12mm lag bolt.
    - Remove two 10mm phillips screws connecting splash shield to front bumper.
    - Remove one plastic pin against frame, and take out splash shield.
    - Remove one small phillips screw that retains the fog light in the bracket.
    - Unplug fog assembly and remove.
    - Once out, clean the surface of the fog light of any debris or oils.
    - Apply Lamin-X film directly (dry) to the fog light while holding the mounting tabs. Then, starting from the center, roll your thumbs outwards pushing any air bubbles out.
    - Cut off mounting tabs with a razor blade.
    - Re install and enjoy a cold Corona!

This is how I did it, I'm sure others have different experiences but it worked for me. Also, I used LED yellow H11 bulbs. See links below for details:

Finally got to clean up in back, and mount my fire extinguisher and shovel using the bits from Amazon. Need to think up a better way to strap the tool box. This works, it doesn't slide around and I can open it after loosening it a tad, it but there's a better way for sure. Also have one of those center-console trays on order along with a few other things. At least, I have a big open area where stuff's not rolling around and I can strap down my cooler and clothes bin when I head out for a few days or weeks into the 'wilds'. Need to pick up a 3 or 5 gallon water jug and strap it down next.

Maybe the bug will bite me and I will start doing some of the amazing mods I see here. For now, I'm trying to concentrate on practical stuff I know from prior experience will pay the most dividends when I venture out.

@Durania - it's P/N 52116-0C090 and they are ~$1.90 @. I just picked up 2 from the stealership this morning. My first oil change had at least 1 or 2 break in 2, so I suspect I'll be replacing them regularly.

Just did my first oil change on mine this last weekend as well. Put the Fumoto valve in place also.

I said nearly all of the same things you talked about in this post LOL. I've changed the oil in many vehicles over the years, but none of them come close to this complexity!

I just did mine last weekend - didn't think they were too bad. It helped to have two pairs of hands. Once I got the wire/hose clips undone and wiggled out of the way, the passenger side wasn't too hateful.
