Haven't fully decided. If I had to chose at moment, I think either sdhq or p&p. There's so many nice ones out there though and they all pretty much do the same. I do like the bolt up option and dont plan to beat the shit out them.

Installed Spyder Smoke Red Tail Lights. For those who will be installing these, red wires go to factory red wires. It is PNP but don’t reverse the polarity. You will not find a black wire from factory harness per instruction.

Popped some LED bulbs into my stock fog light housings, and a quick check on the garage door, and they are hitting higher than my headlights. o_O Guess I won’t be using them right now. I didn’t look super close, but are there adjustment screws for aiming the fogs?

No. What you’re probably seeing is the throw pattern from the led’s. Did you get a decent brand?

I agree with Sean. Sounds like light scatter, higher than headlights in really bad. LEDs in halogen housings are not a good idea. These are the people blinding you as they are driving towards you, dont be that guy

There are adjustment screws for the fogs (at least on the OEM LEDs) I can't remember if they were on the OEM halogens or not. You can access them if you take the front fender liner piece out (guessing that's how you put the bulbs in). The white knob here:

And finally got my topper on. It’s an ARE Z series, full frameless glass all around and remote unlock.

    Weathertech window vents.

Weigh safe locking 6” drop tow hitch.

Couple more mods coming this week.
I’m about to swap out my suspension if anyone is interested. I’ve got the Bilstein 4600 (yellow and blue) shocks/ Coilovers with 2k miles on them. I will get some photos once they’re swapped out.

    All stock - FOR NOW!!!

Did you just splice the wires from the AMP harness? I have them coming my way soon, and would rather have these broggr lights vs the purple ones.

I thought they were a decent brand, but after looking at them further this morning in the dark, you are correct. They are scattering the light from ground level to slightly above my headlight line, and that is only about 10’ away from the garage door. I guess that was money wasted.

I said I wouldn’t be using them until I got it figured out, as I knew it was bad. Looks like for now I have some off-road only fog lights.

The AMP lights are not attached to the harness from the factory. They provide shrink butt connectors to attach them after you run the wire from the controller under the hood, down the frame, and thru the pinch weld. Then you just connect the new lights instead of the AMP ones.

One thing to note about the new lights is that the wire comes out on the back of the flat part of the light where the mounting surface is. They are made to be mounted to a tube on a jeep or dune buggy etc, and you drill a hole for the wire to run into. I just let the wire lay under the light and run out from underneath it and screwed it down. The wire is so well insulated and sealed i do not think the extra strain being pinched under the light will damage it. Ill get some pictures when i can after work.

This thread has good info and pics about the lights.

Try flipping them around. I had that problem with my old gtr led headlight bulbs. There was a little cup on easy side of the light. You had to put them I'm cups up or the light looked like the milky way.

Modified and installed a Pitaka magnetic wireless charger on the dash that works with my case from the same brand. I had done the center console charger but there were times that I needed to see maps while charging my phone. This has rapid charging, and the magnets are super strong, phone doesn't even slide a little bit.

How did you mount it? I only see the vent or suction cup version. It reaches through a metal plate? And charges?

I bought the suction cup version, and then basically tore off the whole back piece until it was flat, and the circuit board was exposed. Put gorilla tape over the back so that the board was covered and it was as flat as possible, and then used 3m double sided tape to just stick it to the dash. I've only used it with the corresponding Pitaka phone case, but it works perfectly for charging and a strong hold. Here's a picture of the case, it's one of the best look cases IMO, made out of aramid which is used in body armor, so very thin and light but strong.
