Thanks, no these are the stock LED's that come on some of the 2018's. They are actually silver inside. They are the same as the TRD pro LED's but the pros have the black.

I can speak on his behalf that he is not ignoring anyone. As soon as I asked via pm I immediately got a response via PM, even went the extra mile and supplied a link. This man is a good man and out to help others just like most others on this forum.

This is a big part of why I spend most of my time here, over the other forums and try to go out my way to help anyone who asks me. I've got a whole lot of help from others on this site anytime I've asked and always will return the favor if someone asks me.

I've seen many of the other forums turn ugly quick, god forbid someone asks a question that most already know or probably should know the answer before asking for help. I've also seen many shit on others just because that person did something that was different or perhaps didn't vibe with everyone else's taste. I kinda feel here, even if others wouldn't do it, or it's not something that someone else likes, for the most part, we keep it civil and scroll on, the way it should be. Nobody says u have to support or even say u like something when you don't, but at least most here have a genuine appreciation for tundras in general and have enough common sense to realize that whoever's truck it is can do whatever they want with their money if it makes them happy. That is what makes this site great and different from most. The genuine appreciation for our trucks and respect for others and their money. Nobody says u gotta love it all, just have common decency and be respectful to others, even if u don't like what they did with their money.

I did a few things “today”. I actually started last Friday but it’s been too rainy to get any pictures.

    -3/2” Readylift leveling kit
    -BMC
    -Method MR312 17”
    -Toyo RT 35/12.5/R17
-Ridgid Industries midnight series pod lights
    -Bakflip MX4
    -Bedrug Berliner and tailgate mat.

    Maybe I should start a build page.9B7B8A73-E4D7-449F-9091-3C71D7FB3E8F.jpg676467C6-7753-43D1-8421-5391326A511E.jpgB5ED9B80-EBA2-4D45-909F-0802AA69CE00.jpgCF0D4A98-588E-4908-83FF-AECCD4DD1C43.jpgDCC07135-D432-4E47-9639-4B1BF5ABEF5E.jpg

Welcome. Nice looking truck. I’m 69 so I hear you on the chrome. Actually I would like chrome rear bumper ends like you have. I am also thinking of fender flares but I can’t decide on matching color (silver) or black.

Post a build. I debated it too, but I'm glad I did. It's a fun way to keep up with your own progress as much as anything. Plus you have a badass truck I want to keep seeing pics of.

Yup I vote go for it. Chances are someone can find some helpful info somewhere. Don't cut yourself short. If it wasn't that great then no one has an obligation to have to look. But I'm guessing there's plenty reason from the looks.

Shit I'm already interested in what u had to do to get the tires on those wheels to fit. My new method 313 order of 5 just shipped today and they're in 0 offset, guessing same as yours. Like to know what u did to fit them.

Here's the caliper clearance on 17s with Method Con 6s. About an 1/8th inch.

I knew what I wanted before I even got the wheels and tires. I had them do the body mount chop when I had the leveling kit installed( I could have installed it myself but what they charged me to install and BMC plus alignment, I couldn’t pass it up...time is money). I still need to go in and mold the plastic splash guards. They are off right now and I have to admit the chopped more of my front bumper than I wanted. I have some coachbuilder front bumper shims that I plan to put in and the put the splash guards on.

Just thought I'd update anyone who cares. My wheels just shipped!!!!!

Then u might just lose your mind (maybe not) when I throw these on my current pro suspension w/ 2 shims and steer kit. An order of (5) 17" new for 19 mr313s in matte black
    image005.jpg
on these monster 35x12.5r17 pitbull rockers.
    20181215_152057.jpg
They certainly don't fall short on meeting the dimension requirements. I'm actually hoping they don't exceed by too much. These 35's compared next to my 295/70r18's nitto RGs make the pitbull rocker look like a 37.

I'm fine doing the bmc, just hoping not to have to cut the shit out my fender liners/bumper. Before I throw it all on I'm waiting for Dave Elkstrom aka coachbuilder to test and if works, get me the hardened but thinner upgraded washer and nut hardware so I can possibly use his bumper shim kit to at least get an extra 1/2 inch pushing the bumper ends forward to better fit this combo in a 0 offset, since I have an aftermarket sso slimline hybrid bumper.

Should be interesting to say the least. I can tell you for sure I'm definitely the first and only person attempting to do exactly this. Others have done similar and worked it out. But I have literally no one I can ask to find out much on this exact combo. Nobody I've found runs a 35 pitbull on a tundra. Nobody I know already put these wheels on a tundra. Nobody I know with my bumper has been able to fit his shim kit on it. Only thing I do know tnx to a member here is that his shim kit wont work with the regular provided or OEM hardware.(So I got that going for me to start lol)

I'm excited and a bit nervous too not knowing if this is going to work. Even if I can work some magic and get it to all come together to my OCD standards, then I have the hurdle of liking it in action to jump.

Only 1 way to find out. No risk, no reward. Here we go, I got the relentless bmc plates already, the wheels just shipped today, last piece of puzzle Dave's bumper shim hardware got to be received by him, tested to see additional clearance provided to studs that the factory crash bar mounts, which has since been removed and replaced with sso slimline hybrid. Then finally send to me.

The 1 and only thing I'm sure on (besides being crazy) and can assure anyone who might be interested is.... Once I get his shim kit, assuming he has positive test results, it won't be long to attempt to put it all together. The suspense is killing me and I can't wait to go for it. Once Dave gets the upgraded hardware he ordered, whether it works or not, it won't be long after that I attempt this.
