I would think that those would have been trimmed off during the Final inspection. Maybe it's just a "Cooper" kinda thing.

Sorry for the question but is this really necessary? I thought we bought Tundras because they were well made.

Just like any other truck, they have their flaws. But let's be honest.. do you really think that Toyota set back and did r&d on all the things we could potentially do to these trucks? I'm just prepping it for my bed rack and rtt that I'll be putting on after the first of the year.. increasing rigidity of the bed to support all the extra weight. So is it necessary? Who knows? Do I feel better about it and have more peace of mind? Yes.

Added a Taco Tunes 8005 amp and a Rockford 10" sub. I replaced the front speakers with Infinity Kappas and added sound deadner months ago. I decided it was time to wake up the Infinity's and the amp did the trick. I am debating whether or not to do the rears. I never carry passengers.

Leased my 2018 Tundra SR5 back in June. Been lurking since getting some ideas and not try and go too crazy since it’s a Lease and I’m likely to swap trucks every 12 months lol

Did some plasti dip on the front and rear bumpers, and hood bulge.

Yesterday had some Moto Metal wheels installed with 33x12.50x20 tires. Still not left as of yet. Looking to put a leveling kit on it soon.

I paid less than that through group buy, but yes they are spendy. Worth it to me to protect the seats, esp with kids. Better than most other brands out there, besides leather.

Looks awesome. I try to keep mine simple. I financed mine, but my parents drive in the winter, and I also don't want to go too crazy with mods. I just dipped my badges, ordered winjet tail lights, and did interior bulbs. Next up is rims in 2019, and maybe a 2 inch lift.

    20” +18

    And tires are 33x12.50

I have a very very light rubbing in the front when I turn the wheel all the way. But it’ll be fixed next week when I put a leveling kit on it. For now I’m just gonna make wider turns lol

I decided while I had the seats out adding leather and heat, I might as well throw in a sub.

Off of eBay...look under Tacoma. It's the same as a Tundra but most are leather. Mine came off a 2014 Taco. All I did was switch out controls

Well it's finally done. Loud as hell. Did it just as I said I would. Came out great. Not even noticeable from front behind grill. Everything either I got black or painted black.

And heres the tank and compressor mounted to my replacement metal lid fuse box cover. The lid cover even opens on a hinge. Also put a piece of dyno mate under it to help with noise and vibration.

Just barely fits under a closed hood. But it works just as I hoped and they pretty damn loud.

Tnx guys, appreciate the love. Anybody know how I can do a sound clip? I also recorded a video on my cell to show the hydrophobic properties of the coating but i wasn't able to post it. Guessing format issue. If someone can explain how to post the sound clip I'll give it a try.
