What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I've got those DRL leds as well, came on mine when. I bought the truck. I'm getting some 19 trd pro led headlights. I was thinking it would be too much led as well, but after seeing this, I think it looks really good.

 

Thanks. The pictures I posted don't do it justice. The color of the LED light matches the headlamp perfectly (we released them for sale in 2014 so we didn't plan that) and I love catching its reflection in the window of a store or something when I'm parking

This week I took my truck into the shop to get the rear bumper repaired from the accident. The only rental car available was a red Kia Soul. Luckily I have to work out of town the next two days so it will be parked at the airport. I ordered an Undercover Ultraflex, Undercover Swingcase for the drivers side, and a B&W Tow and Stow tri-ball hitch with the 5” adjustment. Hopefully I’ll have the truck back on Friday to get all of the new accessories installed.

 

I don’t know if it will work without a base coat of black paint.

2018 Headlights and HIDs in fogs went in today.

I absolutely loved these when I first saw them on Tundra XPSX. Hate that they are not in 218 paint code

 

Our local paint and body shop did an awesome job matching my Blazing Blue Pearl and for only $100.

 

Co-worker who used to run an audio/tint shop did the install. He did both the 2018 headlights and fogs in 70 minutes alone, no instructions. It would have taken me like 4 hours lol. $540 for the 2018 LEDs and $120 for the morimoto fogs (using the 15% coupon eBay provides every so often). $100 for the harness from @iHacker .

Spark parts eBay. They have it listed at 639 for the pair. I used the 15% coupon and got it for $540 shipped.

Every 2 months or so they have a 15% off coupon that can be used on anything. I don't think I have seen anyone come close to $540 shipped on these lights.

 

that would be awesome if i could hit that on the sweet spot. I think its about $289 from Coolsprings plus shipping so it will be a lot more.

 

I got $606.16 from Cool Springs. I'll need a $100 harness as well. The eBay total was $640.

 

that is not bad, but add the harness and you are at about $700-740. Hey, id take it, as it looks awesome.

 

Ya cool springs seems to be the lowest (2nd to the 15% eBay deal). If you aren't in a rush, I would say wait for the promotion. Probably next month

eBay periodically has a 15% off entire website deal. This can be used towards the LED headlights or ANYTHING else. Just keep an eye out. Usually when it happens someone here makes a post about it.

 

Sometimes, it's 20% off.
