Another busy couple of days on our SEMA Show booth vehicle. This past weekend I added the Flowmaster 717786 cat-back system and I am insanely happy with the looks and the sound. I'm going to record some audio when I have a chance to break out my pro microphones but just wanted to share these pictures for now.

I like it exiting in front of rear wheel, looks great, but much N-Fabs wouldn't allow that.

Those floor liners look really nice. Do they have rear full coverage as well?

I’ve actually got to modify the step bars that are on the truck already. They have plastic caps on the end and the cap would have been touching the exhaust tips had I left it in place. I’m going to cut the step back 3-4 inches and put the cap back on.

I’ll report back after install, probably more cosmetic if anything but I know I’m holding a plastic wheel having already taken off the Valleycomfy leather cover which also isn’t bad at all, just bulky.

Not an expensive mod, you can find them on eBay $100-130 and those 15% generic eBay coupons always come around. I initially was looking at a 3rd party black piano/leather wheel, a member here tried it and decided to move to the Tacoma leather one. 20min install as I’ve heard, might black out those gray pieces since I’m taking it apart. Only the wheel is used in the switch.

Did you have to cut any of your grille for this install? I like the 42” being flush

Yes the mesh was removed and the sides needed to be trimmed a little. Nothing crazy though.

Just did a search, none left at that price point, there's a couple around $300, but I do see a pre-owned woodgrain/leather 4Runner one for $220, those fit too. I love the feel of wood, it's a step up, if they only came in OEM black. Subscribe to an eBay search so you get notified of new listings on the Taco and 4R leather ones. Scroll to post #22 and #25:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/do-all-trd-pros-get-the-urethane-steering-wheel.31626/

Another thing, as long as the leather isn't hacked up, use a good cleaner and conditioner, drench the thing, watch some YouTube vids how to revitalize, de-shine and make the leather supple again. Gonna install later, here are instructions if you want to bookmark and @nk1794 has an awesome install YT vid too:

Yeah I read in another forum today that if you pop the platinum badge off.. it can be taken apart.. so you can paint the letters and border seperate. Considering trying to paint it black and my lettering color matched.
