What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

After talking to Keith today, he felt that maybe I was getting some unnecessary drone from my 6" BAM. I got under there and adjusted the resonator using a few tips from him, also retorqued my exhaust flange bolts, they were actually quite loose compared to when I installed the system. Must be from the heat. We shall see tomorrow if that helps with some of the noise I have been hearing. I think it will.

 

Do you have a pic of the screen view there. I was contemplating drilling into my bumper to get a better view.

Just bought my Platinum last week the first think I did was to add a 3 inch level kit done. Today I installed Rough Country DS2 drop steps. So far so good

No lol, well sort of. Red green colorblind- I confuse red with browns and such, hard to explain. But I like the idea I considered changing all the interior silver pcs on dash/doors/steering to a deep gloss red

 

Can't provide screen view because did not install the harness yet. As soon complete installation, l will post the screen view.

 

Set up my Scout GPS..it’s ok I guess...will test it out tomorrow.

On another note, couldn’t connect to any Entune apps from my iPhone.

 

Yes sir, it's hard as hell to explain. I have the same problem as you, hell I thought I was the only one.

 

My three brothers and my mother are all colorblind the same as me... not to hijack the thread at all but check out enchroma glasses if you haven’t already, they’re amazing.

 

My son is colorblind. I'll have to buy a pair for him.

 

Will look into them.

 

I checked them out, took their test and the test was right, about the colors I have trouble with. They are pricey, do they really make a difference?

Your mom? That's super rare for a female to be color blind. I think around 0.5% of women are, and something like 10% of men. Women tend to carry the gene not actually inherit it, which is odd because it comes from the X chromosome but woman have 2
X's so the "good one" overrides while the males Y cant override the colorblind X. I have problems with colors too, but surprisingly not the common red/green, and not blue / yellow. I have problems with shades of red mostly. No idea why, it's not hereditary, I'm just a weirdo lol

 

They made a huge difference, I’m going to get another pair, unfortunately I broke the last pair but the amount of detail I could see while driving around was something I’ll never forget experiencing

Ha, My brother and I have to check those out as well.

 

Myself and my cousin are both colorblind but both of our older brothers are not. Strange how it skipped over them :-(
My wife surprised me one day with the glasses but everything seemed to bright and didn't notice much of a difference color wise.
Was supposed to give them some time but sent them back.

 

Installed bumper shims and fixed the wheel well lining clearance. Details on my build page.
