I like the look with the stock wheels. Of course the pro wheels would be even better. Just worried about the longevity of the spacers. It is my DD.

I do believe I am going to regear it to the proper stock ratio down the road though. Hopefully sooner than later. Just need to decide if I’m going to stay with the 295/70 or up it to the 305/70.

I have no idea what offset. Its the stock rims. The dealer did the lift - coil overs set about 2 in I believe.

That's probably what the difference is and what I was saying. On the other rims he said they were offset by 18 sticking out further than yours. Yours are stock and don't stick out as much, therefore on a full locked turn you're less likely to rub those areas. Exactly what I was saying.

Got my sliders yesterday. Very excited. Hopefully have them installed next weekend. Looked around for awhile then a friend, recomend a shop. Showed them what I wanted and ask if they could do a custom touch and put Tundra on top plate. I think it turned out perfect20180909_171023.jpg 20180909_170725.jpg

Gave it its first oil change (by me) tonight. Decided to try it without jacking up the truck. It's... doable lol. I love the way a vehicle sounds and runs after a fresh oil change. So quiet and smooth.

Feel? Not so much. Hear? Yes. The engine is quieter and runs more smoothly. All of the little ticking and clacking that begins to creep in once the oil starts to break down goes away. I'm not sure when the actual last oil change on it was, but when I bought it there was just over 12k miles on it. I changed it at 14,283 and the oil was quite dark and was pretty worn out.

Awesome. That's a good thing. I just have never heard a difference in any of my vehicles after a oil change, but I change religiously at 5,000 mile intervals.

Yeah, if you're diligent about it and get it changed before the oil really breaks down then you may not hear much of a difference. I'm guessing the Chevy dealership didn't do a basic service on the truck when they acquired it given the state of the oil. I've also gotten used to listening for general engine "chatter" over the years so I may just be more sensitive to it. I would notice it on my 2013 Altima as well after the oil was changed. Now if I could just get to the point of knowing what that chatter was actually telling me I'd be set!

can you even see them since you have very directional LEDs pointed up, instead of out?

Seems to me you want to rotate them 90° so that they are pointed out, just like your headlights, no?

On this topic I must say I've definitely noticed a difference in the feel. I tow every so often, travel many good size hills daily, travel mostly rural and highway, not too much stop and go, and have added a decent amount of weight to my truck in mods.

Not so much a difference in sound but definitely feel. The oil change before the one I did just days ago I noticed a big difference. That 1 was between 7500 to 10k miles. When it was changed I noticed a pretty significant change in the feel, way smoother right after the change. I just changed again days ago. This time, I changed at just under 5k. Although I still did notice the truck running smoother after this last change, it was no where near as big of a difference in the feel as the change before. So for me, instead of changing oil at the recommended 10k intervals, based upon my driving conditions, weight of my truck, and the difference I've noticed in the feel between changing at the different intervals, I've decided it's every 5k for me. Plus I won't have to bring my truck back in to service after tire rotations every 5k. I just do rotations and oil every 5k now and going forward.
