Finally got my wheels and tires on

    17" Method Standards- 0 offset
    285/70/17 Toyo MT Tires

Have a 2.5" level on the front but still had quite a bit of rubbing. Drilled new holes in the front plastic liner and moved it forward an inch and a half or so and now no rubbing. About 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of clearance. Very happy with how it turned out.

Glad to hear that. Thinking that's what I'll end up doing. Plasti Dip is alright for now but the small imperfections are gonna drive me nuts.

Pulled the stock JBL entune amp and the JL Fix86 out and installed the Rockford Fosgate DSR1. I did all the firmware updates prior to install and used the idatalink t-harness so it was truly plug and play with the factory harnesses. I reset the gains on both amplifiers, the JL RD amp has a clipping light and the JL HD amp I used a multi meter to set for proper voltage per the table JL has on their website. Also replaced the fix86 remote with a bass remote to the HD amp. I have not gone thru the tuning of the DSR1 yet because neither my S8+ phone or my Samsung tablet will connect to the unit, so I have to look more into that.

First impressions without tuning, just the flatened signal, is there is more volume range, the faint hiss I was having with the factory amp is all but gone. I have to turn the volume above 50 and pause the music to have any hiss now, where it was at 20 with the factory amp and fix86. I also have the amps set for low input now, where I had them set for high input before. At low input I am able to reach the recommended output voltage for the JL speaker ohm rating. I set all the gains while at 3/4 volume and used 50 hz and 1000hz sinwave tracks from the JL Fix disc. The system is much louder now while still very clear and clean. I played several songs to test the different acoustical ranges of the speakers while having the volume set between 45 and 50 and the bass knob set around 60%. I am much happier with the performance of my system now that the factory JBL amp is removed.

    Flux capacitor!
Changed out my Icon UCA dust caps with the black machines caps. I was amazed at how much debri was inside the uni ball.
    Before ADFB6F2C-2629-4274-A166-FCB43C28C67C.jpg

After I cleaned and vacuumed the debri from the uniball. Icon doesn’t recommend any grease or lube to prevent dirt from causing excessive wear.16AE45D4-177A-4AA8-BFEA-80F08293DF3F.jpg
All done! I replaced the original rubber gasket and installed the new dust cap.

Run a thin bead of clear silicone around the cap. That'll ensure that any debris you get in there is coming in from underneath.

looking at the rust, do you think the cap is actually making it worst vs no cap/ open uniball ?

Another idea, is if there is room under the cap, you could cut out a small donut of some porous foam to fill the void. Like this stuff. https://www.ufpt.com/materials/foam/reticulated-polyurethane-foam.html

    Flux capacitor!
I talked to Icon about it. The dust cap does help keep dirt, sand and other debri off the uniball. That’s what will cause faster wear if left on the metal. I’ve had the UCA on for 51k miles already. So now I’m going to inspect my UCA dust covers every time I change my oil.

Thanks for the suggestions. The dust cap does have a rubber gasket that fit into a notched groove on the dust cap. I’ll check them again in 5k miles and see if any debri gets back inside.

Yes it is just the rear bumper. I've got all the yellow out but there are just some small scratches as the pole was cement and rough so i'm thinking some good polish might fix that.

WD-40 (spray oil) might help to get the transferred yellow paint off, and help to get dirt out of the scratches. Then use polishing compound to buff it and you should be able to get rid of most of the small scratches.
    Good luck!

Tried to install the Utility-Track but fudged it up so bad. Anyone know why these bolts stripped? I have a Spray Bedliner and used the right bit but almost all but one got stripped.
