If your Key has a “G” chip you should be able to get the flip key fob to work

I’ve had the carbon vinyl for this project for over 4 month. Finally got it installed today. I think I’m going to paint the chrome ring around the shifter next. It was a fairly simple install if you take your time and use a heat gun lightly.

Not a job for faint of heart. Just jacking my truck up was pia. My truck got so much flex in suspension, I had to almost put it thru roof of my garage to get tires off the ground, don't believe me

It took from beginning to end with allotted dry time 5pm to 5am. 2 hrs from done painting to put wheels back on.

Without a doubt the best bang for the buck mod you can do.

I want to throat punch the Toyota designer or bean counter that thought putting chrome on the inside of a vehicle was a good idea.

The person in the thread above is correct. It won’t work on the 2018s. The 18s have an H on the key. I’ll have to wait for a flip key to come out.

Haha too funny Tom. As bright AF as my fogs are, plus being amber, I still don't think she noticed I replaced them. It's been a bunch of months so I think I'm good there lol. Clueless to under the bed cover, under the seats, and under the hood too lol.

Besides she can't complain. I just bought her today a 15 Camry SE Hybrid. Only had 20k miles. Msrp was over 32k. Got it just under $20k. Plus got to see a bunch of dudes i use to work with. Plan is she'll use that for 2 yrs as her replacement to the vehicle she just got hit and totalled. When she finishes her next level of nursing school she'll be able to get whatever SHE wants to buy. Big daddy won't have to buy that 1. At that point, I get the Camry hybrid I bought today that gets 40mpg across the board. That'll save me a ton in gas money and keep the miles down of the tundra hopefully lasting the rest of my lifetime. I'm hoping to go to the grave still in this truck. Matter fact, I'd be perfectly happy being buried in it. Love this truck n hopes it lasts forever.

The whole center console is just snap together parts. Not hard at all. Unscrew the shifter first. If you have a plastic pry tool set it very easy to remove. Lift the center console lid and you can start removing the center console around the center console latch.

Not at all. As @1UPPER stated, it all just snaps together. Hopefully the plastidip will last a long time.

My plasti dip only lasted six months. That’s why I removed and replaced with the vinyl. Hopefully your last longer than mine did.

My plastidip on my cup holder surround is holding up well. I like the matte black look so if it does fail I’ll have to get some mate black vinyl.

I use both-semi annually. I park it in the sun to create a heat room effect, and then use gloves to massage the oil into the seats. (be sure to get the stitching too.)
After several hours of it baking in the sun, I move onto the second bottle by spraying it onto the seat and let it sit for a few mins followed by a wipe down with a MF towel.
Lastly, I use a damp rag to wipe the seats down.

    Cliff notes:
    Yes, twice a year.
    Yes, gloves.

Thank u sir, that explains perfectly. I'm guessing the black rubber gloves like the medical gloves we use at my job working in a water and sewer dept would work. I'm also guessing that since it looks like my driver seat needs both products, with much less use in the other seats I can get away with just the second part of process on all the other seats.

I need to tow my 27 ft trailer next week so I put these on today.
Yes I’d like to have the Toyota ones for several hundred, but these were 39$ and should do the job for now. I went out on the freeway and took it up to 75 to check out possible vibration, and they were fine.
