It was a Chemical Guys and Wax Addict weekend. Washed with Mr. Pink soap followed up with Extend wax + X-Seal. All exterior trim, tires, wheel well liners, and engine plastic/rubber hit with Wax Addict.

Is it much louder than the OEM, or just the deeper more badass sound?

The rates must have gone up I'm guessing, I went today to the appeals tent at the sportplex thinking since I have higher mileage I could get it knocked down (25k miles in a year). Lady told me the best they could do is reduce it $21....city must think I'm worth a fortune or something.

property tax? wtf is that crap. all i know my tabs cost like $500 right now. thanks WA state for some BS you got people to approve that i will never use cause i have a mode of transportation.

 

They tax you based of the value of things you own, everything gets its own tax. So if you own a Tundra or Tacoma like me you get hammered because they retain there value, where a guy with a 2017 comparable Silverado to my Tundra will pay less. It makes no sense, it should just be added to the gasoline so that its based off how much you drive. If you have a rare Mustang you wouldn't even pay tax on it even though the value could be 80-100k, makes zero sense. Just another if your successful were going to take more from you deal...

Sooooo.....is it a lot louder in the cab??? That's my concern because of my kids. Dont need to ruin their hearing.

 

Yes it's louder in the cab but not that bad.... The muffler shop i went to had 3 options for me to choose from... They cut off my stock and then put one on at a time cranking the engine... I chose this one it was the loudest..

I called around until I found a shop that had a few choices... They told me it happens a lot..

 

I had some scrap vinyl and installed it and trimmed the excess away.

 

My original Thule had it powder coated gloss black and bought the new Thule 500XTB, “B” for the black powder coat. So gave my Tacoma my original Thule and got my Tundra a new Thule rack.
Had a custom bracket made for the tundra base to fit the Tacoma XT factory rail system. Now my Tundra fits snug. Measurements for base plate: 16” lengths x 2.75” width x 0.25” height. Thule said that the Tacoma rail system will not fit a Tundra rail system....no worries I can make a custom bracket.....

 

I need to try this wax addict stuff. Want my tires to look like that after I clean them. Mine usually show the brown ring around the edge and that’s after scrubbing twice with armoral tire cleaner. Just cover it up with tire shine. Speaking of that do you use a particular tire shine that is better than the armoral stuff I use?

Pro grill, should of been the first mod.

 

I only use Wax Addict on the tires and no other product. The shine left depends on how much you buff in the Wax Addact after application. It will shine more with less buffing.
