They stick out far enough to use as a step. The dimple die panel was added for traction when stepping on them to enter/exit the truck and/or get on the roof if you have a basket or bed rack.

Very curious how you like the Rigid lights. Did you go with the SAE fogs or D2's, etc?

Was only successful in getting the aFe on tonight finally. Pods will be tomorrow. I'll double check what I ended up deciding on when I have the box with me. I took the recommendation from my parts manager. I want to say they were SAE, but I'll confirm once I've verified.

Got a few more toys on today... still a hand full to go.

    Here is today's success.

    IMG_20160827_235449.jpg
Paint matched my sway bar... I couldn't do the TRD Red with everything on my truck looking a certain way.

    IMG_20160831_123806.jpg
    Door sills on

    IMG_20160831_123819.jpg
Window visors were put on while the wife was at her dr's appointment. People kept looking at me when I was doing this in the parking lot.

    IMG_20160901_133239.jpg
    IMG_20160901_133248.jpg
Sway bar on and noticed the difference like right away.

    IMG_20160901_170354.jpg
aFe exhaust... sounds oh so nice.

Upcoming projects... painting the tow hooks, LED bed lighting kit, fog pods and some new shoes. Ko2. Then it's the TRD Grille and headlamps. Just need time to get these off my basement floor and onto the truck.

I've had it for only about 2 hours of driving, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the sound of it honestly. I'm a 34 year old man (some would argue that) who became a 12 year old boy when I got it rumbling down the road. Now I just want reasons to accelerate lol.

I plan on blacking the rest of the pipe, and really liked the black tips it came with. The sound is a bit more throaty I find vs the TRD, which were about the same price when I was pricing them. So it came down to the sound and the look for me.

@Krezz I would feel the same way! Thanks for the info and I'm glad you like it. An exhaust is on my long list, I probably won't be getting one for a while, but I like hearing feedback on different setups.

@RowdyRon , did you soak them in hot water afterwards? It shrinks the 550 parachord and tightens it up around the handle.

Yesterday I got new tires, today I received and installed the TRD Pro Grille. I also installed the LED headlights in my Spyder projectors that I've been holding on to (figured I'd have the grille off when I got the TRD Pro grill anyway).

Do you think your lift might have had something to do with your MPG drop off as well?

Wow, I'm only averaging about 14 mpg now. If I lost 3.5 to 4 mpg due to a lift and exhaust I'd cry.

No noticeable loss in mpg with my TRD dual exhaust.

I've been trying to remove my stock grille so I can place on my TRD one as well... the issue I'm having is being able to unclick the bottom from their mounts. What tactic did you guys use to complete this? I've watched a couple videos but still can't seem to see what I"m doing wrong. I was able to successfully remove the 4 screws and 2 clips above, just the bottom won't detach.

Thanks for any tips and advice.
