Yes sir! Snapped right in. Get the TRD filter or a aFe dry s or oiled filter and it’s pretty much the same thing as trd cai. The lid and pipe are the only thing different.

picked up a spare complete front bumper from someone for $50... now i just need to disassemble it

    - taking the center black plastic piece for myself
    - 2 other local guys want the fog lights and one of the bumper ends, so I'm trading those for beer
    - still need to offer up the other bumper end and the inner bumper supports for more beer

Funny you mention that, I just got finished cruising ebay for the high heat vinyl logos. I'm on the fence about doing them still though. Some look good and some not so much. we'll see

I don't think I'd fork out $80, but for $20 I was impressed. Took 3 coats and I still had about half the can left

So after my budget exhaust job, I believe I have a little bit of drone. Should I just live with it until I get a dirty deeds system down the road or buy the helmholtz resonator now and see how it sounds? There’s no selling my exhaust so it’ll just be scrap once I get a bamuffler.

Just beware depending on what system you get from him you will still need to keep your stock tail pipe. The Helmholtz resonator comes with his kit. You should just live with it unless you want to throw some more money around.

Yeah I spoke with Keith and he set me straight. I can pick up a stock exhaust for $40 on CL so I can have the stock tailpipe

Don't be so sure you can't sell it. I sold my flowmaster off the truck to one of the techs at the dealership the day I upgraded to the Outlaw system. I also sold the TRD exhaust through craigslist in less than a week.

No I just squeezed it through the hole. There is a gap but I figure the TRD CAI would do the same. Do you have a whistle now?

No I haven’t noticed a whistle. It’s definitely throatier. I wonder if it’s because I have the dry AFE filter

@mgm16trdpro I've been thinking about it, and I've decided I'll take one for the team and send you my bug shield if you send me your front bumper in return.

About 50% heaver than stock. Not sure if it does anything, but it is red with TRD stickers.
