I'm still learning. I know they're "inherently different"-- Fox vs. Icon vs. King-- but can you tell me why you picked Fox shocks and this UCA? I watch your posts and you seemnto know what you're doing. Thanks in advance.

About a month ago I installed the rough country 30” black series light bar behind the bumper using @ragofabrication brackets. (Obligatory pic below) everything was fine for a week and then out of nowhere the front of the truck started creeking when turning at very low speeds (like backing out of a parking space or driveway). Also seems to be some squeaking at times too. Taking normal turns while driving makes no noise. Everything is as tight as I can get it. Has anyone had a similar issue after installing a bar behind the lower bumper. O haven’t done any serious digging into the source but thought I’d ask here as a starting point. If this is not the right place for this ? Please point me in the right direction. C934C701-3FC2-4C59-BCDE-864675730D07.jpg

I think its a 1972. It starts on 2nd pull, not afraid of deep snow and very easy on the back.

So I’ve got my Alpine amp, wiring kit, and Sundown sub. I have the non jbl stock stereo. What would I need to be able to add that to the stock system?

Last night a buddy and myself added a little blue accents to the truck. Don't mind my upper arms I'm working on those shortly :muscleflexing:. Slowly crossing off my list.

Bumper looks great. Don't think it would be sensor friendly for my platinum. Think if you blacked out the lower radiator support it would look better. Just my .02%

I don’t think the plastic is touching the bar but I’ll check. My guess is it’s from the flexing too. I’m just wondering if there is a way to eliminate it. The bar came with some spacers so I may try to install those. That should eliminate any noise from where the bar may be rubbing the bracket (my guess is that’s where the squeaking is coming from). The creaking is a mystery though.

Sweet cover, like that it's roll up and you can still put 400# on it.

Take the light out then check for squeaks if its not a pain to remove. Or make up some plastic washers for the light brackets.

Looks great! I put the X2 on mine about a month or so ago, and don't like how high the rail sticks up in the back. Probably just have to loosen the clamps and have someone press down while I retighten...

I see you removed front sway bar too. Did you adjust driver side coil over for Tundra lean or left the factory KING settings ?

Oh yeah i removed that too.
At this time I left it with factory settings and figured if and when the lean happens I will adjust when I get my arms.

Yep. I’ve don’t that a little and can’t replicate it. I jumped up and down on the running board and could hear a slight squeak. Going to take the grill and panels under headlights off and have the wife drive it around our cauldasac while I listen and try to zero in on it. I’m sure the neighbors are going to love seeing that!! I’ve heard the creaking while breaking, accelerating, and turning both directions going forward and backward so it has to be flexing I just don’t understand how it was good for a week and then after a road trip of about 300 miles started this crap. Very frustrating and it sounds like I’m driving some old clunker thats falling apart!!:frusty:

Oh, and thanks for the suggestions. Keep em coming!

I did not buy from them directly. Went through a friend of mine.
