They look nice, are they rubbery like the OEM mats or slippery hard rubber?

They aren’t slippery...even in snow, rain etc. more of a hard rubber that doesn’t cause you to lose your footing, IMO

:notsure: I saw the link he posted and am checking through it now. The fact that they're super level and overlap cleanly is good; maybe I can do it. You gonna?

Edit: I checked all over the CA DMV and haven't found anything that says we can't. So I guess we can!

The Husky Xact Countours feel a bit rubbery, non-slip, but are not pourous.

The Husky Wetherbeaters are more plastic-y, so maybe a somewhat slippery feeling. But not actually slippery.

Thanks for the info, I eventually want to get some liners that provide a little more coverage than the OEM mats. I do like the rubbery compound (slip resistant) of my current mats though.

Well then. Those are similar to Husky Weatherbeaters.

I thought you said those are the ones that slip. Which ones are shown in the photo?

The ones that slip are Weathertechs. The ones that don't slip but feel a lilltle slippery compared to OEM's are Husky Weatherbeaters. And the ones that don't slip, feel a bit rubbery like your OEM's, but have more coverage and are more of a tray than just a cover... and I recommend... are Husky Xact Contours. If I recall which pic you're asking about, there's a dirty OEM mat in the first, then the Husky replacements in the next pics.

:burnrubber:Finally got a chance to seat the rings in this thing today. Nannies off and was able to break the tires loose at almost 8000 feet in elevation on dry pavement. Can't wait for a road trip closer to sea level!

I don't think you'd be pulled over. They're DOT compliant so it's just like running with OEM driving lights.
The OEM are often called fog lights and maybe they are? I just (in my mental world) differentiate fogs as amber and driving as white. Regardless of what we call 'em I really think you'd be OK running those.

Finally, after waiting 9 weeks for my bumper, I canceled my order with 4wp (can't say I wasn't warned @matluth ) and ordered from lifts 4 less. They got it to my house the next day:

In my Silverado I had the weather techs and due to the porous material it was hard as hell to keep them clean. Just when you thought they were they would dry and you could see the dirt resado in the cavities. Hope the husky mats are not like that.

Nice bumper. What occurred with you is unfortunately commonplace in the marketplace. FYI to all...If you need something right away don't place an order unless whatever you are ordering is actually in stock in "their warehouse". Many companies are nothing more than brokers and have zero inventory. Naturally if something is being custom made that's a different story. Just remember..."In stock" can be very ambiguous.

Not a big Weather Tech fan either. I dislike mine. Was going to try out Rugged Ridge awhile back but wasn't impressed with response from customer service. Need to get a set of Huskys before hunting season.

Yep. It can be tough to get a straight answer too. "Yes, we have it in stock, it should ship in three to four weeks". WTF, it's going to take three to four weeks to put it on a truck? I can wait for the part but I'd be a lot happier with an honest answer. Then again, I've never run a business and maybe that's how you have to operate in order to be competitive and stay in business.

It's best to be completely honest with the customer. Things happen. Don't ever make customer have to call you. We inform all customers within 24hrs of any issues. In most cases immediately. Hell to pay if we don't.

I have a 4WP about 10 minutes away. I last went there maybe 10 years ago. I do like to go to the 4WP Truck Fest when it comes into town.
