Installed my rough country 30" light bar. Still waiting on my oem push button switch, so I can turn it on.

Switched up lighting after getting a new lightbar.

Also installed Tyger Armor side rails. Very impressed with whatb you get for the price.

I had to remove the bumper to install the Rago Fab hidden bumper light brackets, not sure about the install for the Rough County. It is not difficult, just tedious with an open end wrench. I need to get some mid depth sockets, normal sockets are not long enough and the deep sockets are too deep to get on 6 of the 8 nuts for removing the bumper.

One headlight is all finished! Did an all black housing and bezels and the shroud is all black with the exception of the very front being color matched to the magnetic gray. The other light's shroud had a chip in it so they're overnighting me a new shroud but as soon as it's here I'm finishing up and reinstalling them! Excited to see what they look like all lit up. I can tell you just from adjusting the beam pattern they're exceptionally brighter than stock. MVIMG_20171226_195005.jpg

No bumper removal. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't a cupcake. I used a breaker bar to break the nuts loose, then used a ratchet, but you can't put the socket all the way on the ratchet at first, the bolt is too long and there isn't enough room for a deep well socket.

Did the install solo in about 5 hours with a lunch break in there. I had several things I had to undue - remove the baja designs fog pocket mounts and angled bezel and put the originals back on, disconnect the 30" light bar I had in the factory bumper. I also had to figure out how to make the Magnum bumper work with the TRD pro skid plate, wound up cutting an inch off the front of the skid. I regret not taking the front sway bar off while I had the skid plate off. Now to remove it requires removing the bumper again since the main bumper mount goes over the skid. The skid is sandwiched between the frame and the main bumper mount.

Here is another pic of the light bar. Btw, it's the black series, not the chrome.

I agree - the finish seems ultra-durable and is really unique looking. I like how high they sit too, makes a lifted truck look less squatty.

I got the other 2 trim pieces from eBay, pretty sure you can get it on there. Be prepared, it took me almost 4 weeks to get it. It comes from China or Japan, can't remember. Just search tundra interior Accessories, on eBay or Amazon.

Impulse buys are the best. Truck looks bad ass. I've got the terra grapplers but wish I'd of gotten the ridge. Next time. I don't off road but yours look way more aggressive. Congrats.

Could have went better... they didn’t supply a template to cut with which would have made it much easier. I had to cut wider to compensate for the linex so it was a lot of trimming. Patience, patience, patience. Rather come up short on something like that and trim to fit. I have an air grinder and a head porting set that I used to trim, it mad short order of the work. For the linex your going to need between and 1/8th and 1/16th depending on how “well” they spray. I work for my linex shop so they encapsulated and sprayed thick per my request and premium top coated. I had to trim the linex back so to get the lights back in. Took about a 1/16th off. Did that with a dremel and stone grinding bit which was pretty fast.

I've had them on my wife's 4runner for a few months and they've held up well. We don't do any crazy rock crawling where we would need actual sliders but do a large amount of desert and forest trail running. These steps are very solidly built and the fit and finish is excellent. Some people dislike the starts but I don't mind them at all. I think they look great and function fantastically.

At $300 these are a steal. I got my wife's for $200 when they first came out and now the price has gone way up. I highly recommend them.

Here they are on the t4r too:

Firestone Airbags; remote starter; replaced stock mirrors with larger, pull-out mirrors for towing; hard plastic sectional cover for bed.
Wow you guys do some major mods on your Tundras! The only things I've done is had Firestone airbags installed in the rear (because I tow an 8,000 camper), had dealer put a "Fold-a-Cover" bed cover on her (best $800 I ever spent), and had dealer remove the standard Tundra outside mirrors and replaced with the Toyota pull-out tow mirrors. (Not cheap but worth it when towing my $30,000 camper around)

Oh I have the OEM mirrors in boxes in the garage...if anyone wants to buy one or both let me know...nothing wrong with them. (They are electric and heated)

Since the Tundra is my 3rd vehicle, I don't drive it much so I'm driving it a lot this month to get to 25,000 miles for her yearly oil change. I did the last one myself but this year want to also get tires balanced and rotated so probably going to the dealer and also check out the 2018's and talk to the techs while I'm there.

Did you all know Toyota DOES have a diesel engine for the Tundra but decided not to produce them because they don't think they'll sell very well? I think they'd put Dodge trucks out of business if they did.
